Thanks a lot dr Chin. Very clear explained as always.
I have a request. Can you please make an arterial line placement video (palpation method). I always!!! have blood in my canula but when i shuff the canula it fails. I have tried all the tips and tricks like pushing the needle a bit more inside, lowering the angle etc etc. My succes rate is 70%. But i want to increase that to >90%.
I thought maybe you have some additional types like always or literature that increases my blind insertion method. Some question that come to my mind.....
What angle do you insert the needle? How do you hold the line when placed? Do you use wrist extending methods? What are your tips in acute settings when u cant have proper positioning? Do u use an syringe conncected to end of art line for longer blood flow visibility? Do u have tips when you barly feel the pulsation and an US is far away? Are you from the fast insertion method or really slow introduction?
With US my succes rate is 100% so i m really keen on elevating my blind insertion succes!
I hope to see such video with above questions from you soon because i havent seen it on youtube yet. Thank you again for your efforts!
