Wow that is so cute. You have tough fingers lol. I have been doing mini's for years in one inch scale and can't seem to do the upholstered furniture until I saw your video. Thank you so much. Keep up the good work
I am attempting to make this chair after finding your pattern through a Google search. I cut all the pieces and then started to watch the video so I could assemble. I have a few issues. First, I didn’t know what kind of tag board to buy. Heavy weight or medium weight. I bought both and spent like $13 for two packs. In the comments, I see that you are calling poster board the same thing as tag board? Poster board is way cheaper, which is why I would recommend that instead of tag board. The other thing is the batting. I didn’t know what kind to buy. Batting is also quite expensive these days. I bought a low loft quilt batting but it is not thick enough. In the video you mention both felt and batting, but in the comments you say it’s optional? I feel like the felt would be better. I couldn’t find the pattern for the four foam core board arm pieces but saw in the comments about the error on the pattern. I would also like to add that in the arms, the problem with heavy weight tag board is that it still could dent in the center, especially if you put a heavier doll such as the older Ken dolls. I would recommend adding an extra bar of foam board where the tag board curves around, so that it doesn’t dent later on. Of course, maybe when I add some thick felt, I won’t have to worry about that. I have to go out and buy some before I can finish the chair. I’m sorry if I seem like I am complaining. I am not. I am just trying to mention the issues I ran into in case anyone else is having problems. I have never made a chair like this. I did attempt a couch once but it turned out too large. Thank you for sharing the pattern and video. I can’t wait to finish mine this week. I am also excited to learn the techniques and try to make some different types of chairs. ~ Sunny
I had exactly the same issues. Some of the pieces were missing but yet this is the best video I've scene for this particular chair. I'm still missing pieces if it all works out I'll make a video of the whole process.
I just made this chair today for my daughter's barbie house that I am currently working on and it turned out great! I did mine in a pink flamingo pattern fabric and she loves it! Now to make a couch to match!
Love the outcome. And I love the process, very neat and you took your time, two things I always look for in a crafter to inspire me to be just as neat.
Love all the videos! The sofas.. Arm-Chairs are fabulous looking! Nice and easy to make, for my Barbie Doll Rooms! Also… So Loving… “ THE DOLLAR-TREE PLANTS! 🪴 for Barbie💕
Please do! I'm going to start a hashtag for people to post pictures of the things they've made. I can't wait to see how our videos have inspired you and others. :) This is the hashtag > #poppyseedminigallery
I love your videos, but the only way I can get your printables is for me to give full access of my whole picture library to Google. I don’t feel comfortable giving access to my personal pictures to anyone. Do you have a pdf version, maybe considering to use Patreon where we pay to get these printables?
Hi! I’m not affiliated with this channel, but I am attempting to make one of these chairs. Mine is the right size for a standard Barbie so far. Is it possible that when you printed the patterns, you may have scaled them smaller? My printer sometimes chooses the size and I have to adjust it to show 100%.
Sorry I didn't answer you sooner. The pattern for the tag board piece is miss labeled. It should say cut 4 out of tag board and 4 out of foam board. Sorry for the confusion.
Am I the only one having trouble printing to the correct size? I have it set up to full page, but it is not printing correctly. It is printing smaller than in the video.

Thank you 🤗
Super cute, I love your crafts! I wish I had how to videos like this in the 80's I never would have left the house! :)
Thank you! 😊
You two need to check Dollar Tree in the crafting section and get the little protectors (they are pink rubber) to save you from hot glue burns!
Thank you! I never thought of using them for hot glue. Great idea :)
I have everything cut and laid out and ready to assemble. I don't know how you don't have way more subscribers, you definitely deserve them!
Awesome! Thank you 🥰

Hi! Are you using standard 11.5inch barbies? Bc I made your chair from your templates (thank you so much!!) but my barbie looks like a giant on it 😅🤔

It is for a standard Barbie size. I would check your printer and see if it printed the pattern at full size/ 100%.
I already sub to you channel please more furniture vdo and free pattern i love it
is the felt optional?
Yes.
I am a little stumped. I don’t see the pattern for the curved arm. I have the tag board piece and the fabric piece. Am I missing something?
Sorry I didn't answer you sooner. The pattern for the tag board piece is miss labeled. It should say cut 4 out of tag board and 4 out of foam board. Sorry for the confusion.
What is tag board? Can I get it at Michael's Arts and Crafts?
It's poster board. Walmart, the dollar store any craft store.
what scale on printer use i use? A4 Us letter? there is no direction on your page at all
Our patterns should be printed at 100% for 1:6 scale on 8 1/2 by 11 inch paper. The instructions are on the video.
Am I the only one having trouble printing to the correct size? I have it set up to full page, but it is not printing correctly. It is printing smaller than in the video.
Oh no I’m sorry you’re having trouble. 😩
@@PoppySeedMini What are the correct final dimensions of the chair? I want to see if I did it right. Thank you!
@@publicparks8848, yes, actual measurements would be so helpful!!
