What a beautiful town! I came to see if there were a video such as yours because I'm thinking of moving there. I'm retired and no income tax so my pensiosn won't be taxed and apparently no sales tax either. My daughter moved to Maine nearby. Not only is it beautiful but the sidewalks are in such great repair and accessible. I'm power chair reliant and I could see myself rolling down these streets enjoying the scenery and shopping. Wow, this ups the interest big time. Thank you.
I have been thinking of moving to New Hampshire….. This city is on the list … Great video…. I currently stay in Maryland close to Washington DC …… Looking for a change
This is great! i was born in this town, but raised in Florida. my dad worked at Nashua corp. Its such a beautiful down town. i never knew what it looked like, i was only 9 when we moved. Thanks for the walk, it was very nice.
It felt as if I am walking down the Nashua Downtown myself. Thank You for a Beautiful Video Tour!!! Please explore more areas in US and share with us. You could also show us your hometown :)
Yup, Downtown Nashua Main St is quite lovely...But take a walk up and down both sides of Woodlawn Cemetery West Hollis St and Kinsley St and it becomes quite evident that the Mayor and NPW dont give a damn about how the streets and sidewalks look or what condition they are in..I may make a video hi lighting the dalapitaded crappy conditions in these areas. Both are major arteries into and out of Nashua and are disgraceful and an insult to citizens/taxpayers. Also those damn ugly Jersy barriers up and down Main St have got to go.
You make some solid points and it would be irresponsible for the city leadership to ignore them. As with any city, there are going to be places that urgently need work. Nashua is a complex city and managing it must be a nightmare. I don't know they keep all the plates spinning at City Hall. We can all agree that if we were king/queen that there are things we'd do differently but there's no magic wand to wave that will solve all the challenges any city faces. You can only focus on a finite number of issues at any given time. The more you take on, the less effective you become. Community activism is necessary to bring attention to issues like these. I'm glad you spoke up and hope that others are paying attention. Cheers! -Dave
Yes - nearby an abandoned private building has had profanity in the form of graffiti for two years, at least. I alerted an official city department, they said it wasn't their department and they would not be able to pass anything on. So, going around the round about to my $1650 a month rental (old and drafty without proper closet space) I get to see "F You" each time. The sidewalk was atrocious, they are finally cleaning it up, but they leave it to the owners and it's abandoned. It's an odd set-up and very depressing in some areas, some near where you mentioned. A furnished studio with 24/7 concierge in London was more modern, efficient and quality and was less expensive than what you get here. It's sad.

Thank you for this video. I spent my childhood there, it's amazing to see that not much has changed since the 20+ years I've been gone.
Come back sometime soon, Phil! Autumn is an amazing time here.
@@livinginnewhampshire8231 Thank you, hopefully soon.
It hasn’t changed much in 20+ years… it means it is not growing..

This brings back memories. Used to drive up and down main street all the time. 14:43 I think there was a Fletcher's Appliances there.
A beautiful downtown area, I worked at the Nashua Corp. in the late 70's. l live in Texas now and miss Nashua. Thanks for the memories.

@@Kal-El207 I bought it for $1,499!
Its amazing how nice the nashua river is.
Growing up it was a dead river.
It was one of the most polluted in the country.
Martha's Exchange started out as a candy and sweet shop if I remember correctly.
Looks like a nice place.
Great family legacy, beautiful farm and produce. Thank you for the video.
Que lugar maravilhoso . Lindo demais ❤
NH is America
Wow! This place is wonderful!

Main Street was the Nashua shopping center before the Malls moved in.
Skipped Jajabelle's and SFK

....but is not NH a tax-free state?
@@_An_Indian no individual income tax. Very high property taxes.
Even so only Alaska taxes less than NH.

Where are the videos
🌺👍😊
Makes me sad seeing the old Alec's building. The performing arts center is a crime against architecture.

Nashua or Portsmouth?
Seems pretty plain jane
You know what sunk Nashua for me? The Trump sign at the beginning. Trying to avoid it.
Gotta be the most liberal place in NH. The rural parts are MUCH worse.
CovidImages need to be invested more than half19
New Hampshire's beautiful but the hospital's blow chunks they got their nose is way too far up in the air. They will deny you medical help.
