this is awsome. this video is y i started parkour. it's easy to learn but u have to have a lot of disipline or else you'll just fail. it took me more than a year to get to where i am now. everybody should atleast try it
uhhhh.... mazing!! hahaha i loved it, my cousin hated it. she clearly doesnt see the awesomeness in ur talent. haha that last thing was freakin awesome. make another vid and i will watch and prolly subscribe. keep em comin man. u got talent. :P
that part where you go across the slanted concrete window shade... thats insane!!! you should be climbing some rocks, you are built for it... same with that dino at around 3:17. I wanna see some clips of you bouldering
Not much parkour in it? This video is solid. It shows the kind of behind-the-scenes training that (I've been finding, anyway) is absolutely necessary to be able to free-run. There's lots of videos of superheroes leaping 10-metre bounds and living to tell about it, but that doesn't actually help me train.
@JShamw0w Yeah, I saw a good tutorial on rolling. Another question: in general, people don't wear jeans while free running, do they? And if they don't, what would they wear? Sweat pants?
@JShamw0w Great. I only have one more problem: I don't live in or near a big city. I mean I have a brick wall or two, but nothing even in the neighborhood of parkour ground. Can't jump from on building to another, 'cause at the closest, they're accross the street from each other. Is running up a wall where I should start? I mean since it's all I have?
And what kind of training background do you have to be the authority on the matter? I've been climbing, doing parkour, and teaching parkour for over 6 years now and have seen what and what does not help people improve and grow. And I'm not trying to look good, just give advice that would have helped me when I was trying to get stronger. Also, I offered an alternative, Crossfit which is another great way to get stronger. What are your suggestions?
this is called a training, traceurs wall climb to pratice, focus, awarness, breathing, visualisation and many others. This is not to look good, he made this to show us his training tahts all. But i'm sur u got no idea how to PK/FR, so dont make stupid comments without knowing wat he is really doing.
@JShamw0w There is a small school within walking distance. There are a few fences low enough to practise on, but I don't think I can get much of a run on it. And it's on a downward slant. My house is one story, and the outside wall is brick. I think a free runner could get up on the roof without much difficulty, if any. I also need to practise rolling more. I can do it from standing, but havent ever tried from even a small elevation. I've never dove into a roll either.
is there any type of special gear (braces, shoes, shoe inserts) you guys use that help? my biggest problem is the impact this stuff has on my knees and ankles (yes, i know how to roll)
@ParkourChase oh yeah! didnt notice the one behind the tree at 2:31 :p mm part from that i dnt think he rolled atall? i duno just seemed there are plenty of drops were a role would be good to save his knee's ect ....lol i used to side roll but changed as i started rolling on concrete, whatever works for you....
@aclimbatize hey man! Great! One question how did u train or how do u suggest a beginner to train for chin ups :/ plz help, I can't do a proper pullups yet, and I'm sure u've been in this stage, plz help man thx!
i live on a farm, and we are building some new stuff, breaking down some old stuff, so there are many places where i can do this. i can train most of this at home!!
Wow why when i allways do parkour or freerunning(two different things)my phone falls out of my pocket into somebodys gardenor balcony! Its SOOOOO stressing!!
i know nothing about this, but i do know physical fitness, and in the 8th grade i couldnt do 1 pull up myself. i went home that entire summer, i started with girl push ups. until i could do a regular push up.,.than real push ups. than chin ups. than both. i came back and in the 9th grade, i did more pull ups than the anyone in the 9th grade class. easy as it seems push ups build muscle.
And i am eating chocolate and watching this. What a dumb idiot i am.i am trying to do some parkour tricks and stuff too so i am gonna try this tomorrow :D Sad is i have no support in this...
@theveritas100 to train pullups u go every day i repeat EVERY DAY and grab the bar and try to climb (no impulse with legs) after 3 days you will be able to do at least 2 , then more you do more you can do... easy : d
@wufwuf1st actually if you want to be able to practice this stuff safely with good form on landings and rolls it takes a lot longer than one month if you are not very athletically inclined already. I highly recommend finding a local parkour instructor to learn from who can teach you how to do these things well. Doing big moves doesn't mean your doing anything well or safely.
@giannis313 yeah, filmed in winter with a crappy camera that didn't capture color very well. I figured keeping the mood consistent with the music would be an "artistic" touch, lol
@theveritas100 A lot of rock climbing honestly. Most of my strength for this stuff came from a 5 year background of rock climbing. If you're not into that, check out crossfit one of the best ways to get in shape IMHO.
that double speed vault was freaking insane!!!!!! Your technique is pretty cool to watch I enjoyed it! thanks!
Perfect Strengh and Body control combination, great video.
this is awsome. this video is y i started parkour. it's easy to learn but u have to have a lot of disipline or else you'll just fail. it took me more than a year to get to where i am now. everybody should atleast try it

Interesting, double speed vault at the end. Haven't seen that before.

The song is called "Smoke & Mirrors", by RJD2 from the album Deadringer. (:
if i would have the freetime for a hobby like that, i would train alike :)

i live on a farm, and we are building some new stuff, breaking down some old stuff, so there are many places where i can do this. i can train most of this at home!!
@theveritas100 If you can't do a pull up yet I suggest doing pullup negatives - lowering yourself down instead of pulling yourself up.
nice video and respect.
i do parkour too and i know how hard it is.
but why do you train with jeans?

Wow why when i allways do parkour or freerunning(two different things)my phone falls out of my pocket into somebodys gardenor balcony! Its SOOOOO stressing!!
