The guitar fits so well with everything else! Love this. Love also how you change the chords under the melody later on in your covers, adds some really sweet depth.
People are finally playing that lead on guitar the easier way! All the other covers I'm like "No don't do that to yourself!" Sweet team up guys! Ace I feel like you could use the exact instruments/tones and still make it yours!
Metroid music works so well with your style. This is a new favourite of mine, I think. EDIT: That said, have you ever played Axiom Verge? Very strong Metroid elements to it and an awesome soundtrack you might love.
If you take requests I suggest listening to the Saga Frontier 2 OST for future vids. You'll have tons of fresh music to choose from since the game really is a hidden gem of the PS1.
Ace Waters I wasn't aware of that. I thought the last time that question was asked was a few months ago and people stopped asking. They are chiptunes right? That is as much as I can tell and I found this on wikipedia though not sure if it is accurate Music hacks are relatively rare, due to the wide variety of ways games store music data (hence the difficulty in locating and modifying this data) and the difficulties in composing new music (or porting music from another game). As music cracking is very uncommon, many hacks do not have any ported/composed music added in. The program SapTapper can be used to hack Game Boy Advance music data, however, as many Game Boy Advance games use the M4A Engine (also called "Sappy Driver") for music. Various other utilities were created to work with the engine such as Sappy 2006. Another instance of the same engine being used between games is on the Nintendo 64, in which most games use the same format; although they use different sound banks, as expected. A utility known as the N64 Midi Tool was created to edit the sequences that the majority of Nintendo 64 games use, though it does not cover the first-party N64 titles that use a slightly different engine, such as Super Mario 64. ROM expansion[edit]
How can you know that it's a piece of shit? It isn't even realesed yet. "Nintendo, make a new game, stop doing the same shit over and over! No wait not like that."
PlommonMacka When did I mentioned that I want the next Metroid to be different? And I can tell because they're trying to make a FPS for a handheld which was basically never a popular idea to begin with but it's also very easy to ruin a game like this. Choppy framerates, low FOV, very low resolution and detail and awkward controls are are common issues on mobile shooters and so far, that game is no exception. I'm also pretty confident that most of the fanbase didn't want a coop shooter.
+LeireX You are still talking about a game that haven't been released yet. I know about these issues as well, but it would be dumb to just assume this game have the same problems. the 3DS is way stronger than the DS, and phones aren't developed exclusively for games. The game might suck, but saying it does without having played it is ignorant.
PlommonMacka It doesn't matter how powerful it is if they can't optimize games correctly. From what I found on Wikipedia, the 3DS hardware power lies somewhere between an Adreno 320 and Adreno 306. Resident Evil Revelations is a good example what the 3DS should be capable of. So does the gameplay of FedForce look anything like Revelations? Not in the slightest! It looks like a dumbed down, child-friendly, linear-level-design, alisasing hell. That already managed to get massively hated. If this strongly contradicts with what Metroid was all about and what many fans are hoping for then go head, call me/us ignorant.
OH SNAP
SNAP CRACKLE POP

Metroid music works so well with your style. This is a new favourite of mine, I think.

I have played Axiom Verge. Its a pretty great homage to the classic Metroid games. And the soundtrack is super great. Also, Thanks!!!!
If you take requests I suggest listening to the Saga Frontier 2 OST for future vids. You'll have tons of fresh music to choose from since the game really is a hidden gem of the PS1.

sorry for the caps, lol. I just get this question every week.
Ace Waters I wasn't aware of that. I thought the last time that question was asked was a few months ago and people stopped asking. They are chiptunes right? That is as much as I can tell and I found this on wikipedia though not sure if it is accurate

I want a new Metroid game so badly... and no, Federation Force is a piece of shit. That doesn't count.
How can you know that it's a piece of shit? It isn't even realesed yet.
