I guess the main takeaway from this is, the queen attacks the pawns closest to the center first in order to prevent black from making strong connecting pawns
Completely different ballgame if all pawns except 1 or 2 are already supported in a V shape. I feel a draw is certain for the pawns (especially because a V shape requires 2 pawns to be at-least on the 4th rank threatening promotion on opposite sides of the board so the queen is busy). But the question is can they win
the king will be too open, the queen will infotrate and get all pawns while giving checks, also the king can be on the last ranks at any problem and can stop 2 at the same time
A queen vs pawns is a very different proposition to a queen vs 3 knights. There are always backward pawns that can be attacked, and when they all start on the same role, they are not even defending each other and gets picked off too easily.
That’s why the queen is worth 9
Lol🤣
😂😂😂😂
What if 9 pawns?
The math checks out!
@@TITANbyArbid It'll still be a win for the queen because pawns can't operate in an open space against the queen. They're lined up ready to be taken
Seems too easy. The real question is: how far advanced pawns should be in order for the side with queen to lose against pawns.
Josef it’s check
Let's make it easy, third rank. Now let's make it hard for you, which third rank?
@@josef5288 if black have promoted on move 17, Queen b8 check and the new queen Is captured

Idk what I was expecting... Should've known that White would just capture everything.
we used to play this in elementary school chess club and the games were like 50-50 probably

A draw by repetition is most likely as the Queen wouldn't be able to capture the pawns which is supported by the king
And now the question is : what if white has the pawns and black the queen
Queen will always forks pawns.
@@kbk239 fork* not forks ... here
Black was playing kinda dumb tho

White: "I have a good feeling about this!"
And that’s why Queen is worth 9 or 10 points xD

Literally nobody thought black was winning at any point
Black could have promoted 🤔
Why wouldn't you atleast allow pawns to go first lol. Not that result would be different but just makes it much more boring.
That sound fffffffff
