I’m really debating living in my bus... showers are a big deal, 105 degree summers and 0 degree winters are another deterant and I have a full time job to maintain... its funny before watching your guys videos I bought one of those little brooms at the dollar store and used my heater buddy the last couple months when driving to work in 20 degrees. The westfalia kitchen is so better laid out than the riviera which is what I have, but my top pops straight up which is cool I suppose. I need more cabinets like you guys have
thank you for your 10 ideas. the one i really like is the window covers :) ... i have a house in somesville middle of Mount Desert just a walk from the ducky pond library. look me up and stop in, can only come over if invited (house rules) ...

My initial comparison to the RVParky app shows the "I overlander" needs a lot of data input. RVParky has probably 10 times the information "I overlander" does. Thanks so much for taking the time to create your videos and share your life and travels.
Hi Rebecca, great video! there was one trip in 2018 in my 79 campmobile that one of my many fire extinguishers wasn't properly stowed before we hit the road...at 55mph we hit turbulence and the pin fell out when it fell over...it filled the bus with the thickest white cloud in an instant! We could barely see out the front window as we rolled down the windows to breath... and pull over to figure things out. my wife and i looked like ghosts because we were Covered in powder. funny now but not so much at the time...I threw out the spent extinguisher but keep the pin on my keys as a reminder :) stow before go!
Oh no! That sounds awful! But pretty funny in hindsight 😂 our fire extinguisher just sits up front next to the drivers seat...I’m definitely going to see if we can secure it down after hearing your story! Thanks for sharing!
About those zippers--get some Sugru and use the zipper hack on their website, Sugru.com. It is an amazing product. It is really hard to explain it. It is like molding clay that cures into a flexible form. It is absolutely awesome.
Good info. Your clothing bags look like they are still in really good shape so it may be worth it to take then to a tailor and have better zippers put in them.
