Nice video! I have been enjoying my GT8V. It's just like you described. It's a nice size. Not too big, not too small. Good sport touring option for people that don't want to go too big. Handles great! Good power. I get lots of looks. People don't know what it is.
The Stelvio is a better all-rounder as its a Dual-purpose bike and you can hit bad roads too without any worry, lighter and more torque too, nut if you spend your time mainly on highway long hauls, the Norge would be the best bet. Another benefit of the Stelvio wud be better in the city riding with the taller riding position
Great riding mate, you're the fastest guy in a race happening in your head only. Here's to hoping you lose your license before killing or hurting someone else.
This is one of my favorite video's on UA-cam. Have you had a chance to ride the 2012/13 Stelvio? Just curious what your impressions are. Highways, back roads, which is more comfortable and well rounded. I'm only going to be able to get so much from a 20 minute test ride. Norge or Stelvio....thanks. Ride safe
It looks riskier ,faster and closer than it really is because of the wide angle camera lens. But this guy is good. When you ride like this, you have to be 100% sure of yourself, and this guy is. The problem I have, is being 100% sure of the people you’re passing
The wide angle camera lens makes it look closer than it really is. He’s just a good rider With experience in anticipation skills.that puts a lot of faith in the drivets he’s passing, that they are not going to do something unpredictable.. being an ex Champion Road racer myself, and two time national champion road racer, I could ride like this, but I never have on the street..I love my wife and family too much
The guy is a good rider... he is able to plot the course each vehicle in front of him is going to take. At that speed, his attention is at the maximum. He is not distracted by anything. The wide-angle lens on his camera makes it look riskier than it actually is. Keep in mind, with his saddlebags, he is 33 inches wide. Actually, it’s safer for him to do this type of riding on that kind of road then it would be through city streets because, he has no driveways, or intersecting streets to contend with, everyone’s going in the same direction, there are no traffic lights, or stop signs. It’s really not that big a deal . I am an ex-road racer, but I still have never ridden on the street like this..
Awesome riding, very enjoyable video giving the test bike a good workout. I have gone for the Norge as it just fits me so well. Keep it up and safe riding. P.S. for me the Stelvio is too ugly and tall.
...How tall are you?.....having a real problem deciding on which for iron-butt [ i'm in Canada 'boonies...no dealerships ].......I'm 6-2 and was told the Norge is too small....thx: CS
I am 5ft 11 inches but the important length is your leg , I have 29" inside leg, quite short,if you are a lot longer there I would consider looking elsewhere. I now hace a Triumph Explorer 1215 which would be ideal for iron butt as would Honda vfr1200 crosstourer. I would certainly consider Honda Goldwing too. All the best, let me know what you go for. DD
the goldwing has the best comfort of course and suits long legged people too, my legs don't feel cramped after a whole day of riding... frankly for the best versatility i'd go explorer as a dual purpose takes u anywhere from long distance to dun sunday rides. The problem with big tourers like teh goldwing is the weight, a light bike that is tall is more suited to tall riders is my take

What a crazy and dangerous ride 😢 !
Is it useful ?
Lol, driving this way in Holland, you would loose your license.

Title should be ... when a punk drives a Norge !

He's a jerk.
This guy’s a menace. I’m not an expert rider, but he’s one of the worst I ever seen. He doesn’t seem to care for his life at all.
Good to know gopher1471...

That's not touring and this isn't what this bike is about. It's for enjoying the scenery with a laid back engine.
What country are you riding in?
malaysia
bro.. top speed berapa bleh cecah... hehe
i dapat 190km/h tapi ade lagi throttle
Shocking dispaly of riding ! You should be banned !
It's legal where he's at, dipshit.
