- Turbo Honda talon vs Can am x3 , this is with stock exhaust on the talon it ran alot harder with the aftermarket exhaust will take more videos with aftermarket muffler to show results and the difference

@@Bigbossman12624 yeah but it sucks taking my girl out every weekend on my sxs that runs and then my buddies every 6 months gotta wait for something new to come in and be done to it or maintenance and it’s sitting at shop or this or that those poor things rip but if they fall apart they sit for awhile.. and they are extremely costly to constantly fix electrical problems and all sorts of clutch problems I’m just saying that I’d rather ride with my boys and if it meant them getting rid of their can am that’s a little faster I’d rather be riding 150 days of the year then riding 10.
@@HappyTimes024 can am reliability isn’t that awful. Honda isn’t the most reliable thing on the planet either. As long as you take care of it and don’t buy something you can’t afford with high miles you’ll be fine.
I have a pioneer 1000. It’s been good but not perfect. I also have a street bike with high HP. The pioneer is more reliable, the. ZX-6 is very fast. They serve different purposes.
I did some research and that Can Am is the 172 HP Turbo because of the color options. So that’s actually a pretty good race. I never understood why people put up a 300 HP Can Am against a 104 HP Talon and then say it’s slow. Well helll yeah it’s slow compared to something that has 3 times the power. I didn’t choose the Talon for racing. I choose it because I felt it would be better for rock crawling do to the DCT. Well it’s been 4 years now sense I bought my 2019 Honda Talon 1000 R and I still haven’t blown a belt. LoL. Do I wish it had more power? Yes. I won’t put the Turbo in it though. I’m having the HESS Stage 2 installed. It will put the Talon at the 135 - 140 HP mark NA. The Jackson Turbo claims 60% HP increase but people are complaining because they are only seeing a 30 HP increase instead of 60 HP. For $6k that thing better put that Talon over 200 HP and not 130 HP.
yeah but that’s kinda why it’s 6k it’s 25mm turbo not very big which means not a whole lot of power. the turbo kit, e85 injectors, tune and exhaust. would put you around 197 to the wheels for around 2k more.
What HP was the can am the 172 or the 195

That can’t possibly be a RR...or any turbo model for that matter. I’m Honda thru and thru and it’s sad to see a turbo Honda only beat a stock X3 non turbo model by half a car! I really wish they would just say screw it and produce a bad ass motor for the Honda to compete with the others

The turbo kits are shit...have to be programmed to make them bad ass. Only boost the wheels by like 20/30hp that’s nothing.
XMR pushes 195 & 150hp to the wheel and the Honda only pushes 100hp & 80 to the wheel without the turbo and 150hp & 110 to the wheel with it! Those numbers suck! (Numbers May be slight off either way)
Talon is a fun machine but that’s only on the trail/park
Hey man your wrong that a 120 and if it were a stock talon the can am would have smoked it and the Jackson’s racing turbo kit adds 50% whp so bring it up to 160 whp
@@j_roddaboss2257 the honda talon dct system only has a 15 percent power loss, and it makes 160whp which is about 190 engine, The can am makes 195 engine with a 35-45 percent loss of the cvt system your wrong ass hell and the honda will outlive many can ams, same engine in the pioneer still running stock everything pushing over 60k miles no problem

I’ve got a x3 turbo that’s tuned and beat the hell out of it. 2500 miles and no issues
They actually build the engines in the turbo models a lot stronger than they do the non turbos
