The Cheshire Cat is my most favourite character of ALL characters!!! And you’ve done an awesome job of him! His eyes are just spectacular and his stripes are perfect. The little butterflies show great taste in hanging out with Cheshire Cat. My hands are nowhere near as steady as yours but I’d like to try this one! Thank you for sharing. 🌹Rosie of Oz🇦🇺 & 🐶Omega the Cavalier🐶
I had to chuckle when you were looking for your ruler while making the fan, because that always seems to happen to me too!!! This is going to be amazing!!!
Oh Boy!!! I'm hooked.............your work is absorbing I loose myself in watching and listening to you.........and your creativity apparently knows no bounds........amazing, simply amazing.
Chantal, I think you have outdone yourself with that cat . I absolutely love your sculptures, but this one, is 10/10 . It really shows how much and how far you have come with your craft. I just love how you do it all by hand, no need for 3d printer, or anything super expensive. Your videos really are a show case of your talent, and I cant wait to see where it all leads to. Great work as always x
The butterfly's are so detailed! You are so amazing at the fine detailing that really brings everything to life. And the Cheshire cat is just beyond words. I am really loving this diorama. Really fantastic work!
You did such a wonderful job on the curious 🐈 cat!!! I kinda freaked me out when you painted over his eyes but, good idea. Woohoo 🙌 sooooo excited!!! Take care and have fun!!! ☠️👻☠️
This whole video is just amazing! I especially LOVE the Cheshire Cat that you made! Wow! Love how you painted him! Plus I loved how you used your hand as a paint pallet! I've done that myself on occasion! Ha! Well done, Chantal! Well done! :-)
Oh my God! That Cheshire cat is the cutest! I love your work but this might be one of my favorite things so far. And that says a lot because your Harry Potter work is incredible!!! ❤️
I enjoyed watching you make the second part of your Wonderland diorama. My favorite bit was the creation of the Cheshire cat! He turned out brilliantly! I really love that cat! Can't wait to see the finished diorama! ~Janet in Canada
Just incredible ..Love your work as always. You always come up with very imaginative ,clever ideas that take you into a Truly wonderful world of fantasy ..Love this one and the cat is so cute too 🥰
I wanted to say…your commitment is inspiring…whether you feel up to a project or not, you move forward with imagination and wonder! I enjoy and appreciate your efforts! Thank you!
What an amazing uncanny replication of Cheshire! I would like to know what your interpretation of Cheshire was when you where a child. Before the movies where made, did you read the book in grade school and did you have a different interpretation of Cheshire the cat? Your style is fascinating and I love all the same things you do. I have a thing for Edgar Allen Poe. I also have some of the same copies of the same books as you do! But I am no where near the artist that you are. I can't draw or paint and I really wish I could. I can do crafts, knit, crochet and that's the extent of my skills. You motivate me to at least try to draw or craft and I can say I am getting better! Not great by any stretch of the imagination, but motivated to try to and learned. So I thank you!
I'm a subscriber and I am sorry to have to be one of those who disliked this video. Please, don't ruin books that can still be read. Particularly inexpensive copies that might be the most accessible means of acquiring them for people with little money to build their own little library of books. If you find a copy that is missing pages and is therefore too damaged to be read, I would have no issue with it. But destroying not just one, but TWO intact books, just for the sake of making a craft out of them is wrong. Again, please don't do this. Photocopy some pages if you need the look of the contents. Don't destroy readable books!
Are you serious? Have you even watched this channel? She reusues and recycles everything! Not mention her love of books. Did you not see her library tour?!?! I think it is inspiring watching her pay homage to these literary works and turning them into something that everyone can enjoy. If this bothers you so much, definitely dont check out her other channel...hahahaha!
@@michaeljensen7619 we would be great friends! She takes books that would be discarded and gives them new life! The work is absolutely amazing! Cant wait to see her new book upcycle
@@RavensMinis Thank you for your kind response. I've visited the site you recommended, and I have thought a bit about my opinion. While using outdated phone books and old defunct computer operating system manuals does not feel as troubling (or, as I've said, using books damaged beyond repair), I hold to my belief that intact inexpensive books should not be used for artwork. I just have a stubborn wish to have the contents of those books be available to others who may not have the ability to purchase them new. Transforming literature into a different physical artform is problematic for me. I'm rather old school. I know that anyone with a computer can read the classics on Project Gutenberg for free. But, to me, it's not the same as having a volume of a favorite book that you can read regardless of your device's Wi-Fi capability or battery charge. Part of this is mere sentimentality. I own books that were my father's when he was little boy in the 1920's. Part of this is a love of historical things. My family includes historians and a special collections library specialist. We are a weird breed. Books are dear to us. Please know that I appreciate your artistry. Our opinions just differ on the source of your media. It was not my intent to offend.
@@michaeljensen7619 I've been subscribed for some time. Yes, I am aware that she recycles a great deal and I admire her for it. I also have a love a books and our shared love of literary things is one of the reasons I have been watching Chantal's videos. I simple believe that one can "pay homage" to literary works in ways that do not permanently alter their form to the point that they can no longer be enjoyed as originally intended. We simply differ in our opinions. I also enjoy Chantal's creativity and talent. She also seems like a lovely person and is very polite. Perhaps you might benefit from her example?
Fantastic project dear friend 💕💕💕💕

Everything looks amazing but the details of the butterflies is awesome!

Wow, thank you! I'm just having a lot of fun! Is there anything in particular you'd like to see me create in the future?
The prompt thumbnail looks just like Nancy Drew's opening credits... Lovely 👌👌
You are a very talented sculptor
Thank you so much!

You continue to amaze me. Each piece was delightful but I especially loved those bunny gloves. They really looked distinctly like a rabbit's paw.

The way you aged those card is just ingenious. Loved the cat, can hardly wait to see the whole diorama come together. :}
Oh my God! That Cheshire cat is the cutest! I love your work but this might be one of my favorite things so far. And that says a lot because your Harry Potter work is incredible!!! ❤️
so awesome. I can only imagine the HOURS it took to make the cat alone. I so love watching you work your magic.
Thank you so much 😀 The cat took about 4 hours to sculpt and paint in total :) Not taking into account the 3 x 30 mins of baking in between sculpting
He came out so cute!!! Love the book as well. You actually gave me a great butterfly idea too, will be fun to see if I can pull them off....
Go for it! They are really easy to make!
How did you think of using the tea bags like that?!?! Absolutely incredible.
I got the idea from Natasha at @treasurebooks. She makes really great journals and puts many ideas on her channel.
This is so lovely! But the butterflies are just over the top magical!
Your attention to detail is insane! I love the cards! What a great idea
So many small pieces
My hands are shaking yet, and I have only imagined doing these items by hand
Brilliant!! 😃. Absolutely love the technique for aging the playing cards ♥️

I hope so!
all those tiny butterflies would have driven me batty lol
Everything is very cool so far! The gloves?? What?? This will be amazing to see it done!
Also, is there a list of the prompts somewhere that I missed?
They are on my instagram. Link is in the description box of the video.
Oh la la... C'est génial !! ♥
It may be a stupid question but why did you paint over the eyes ?
What tool are you using to adhere the ears? Ive never seen that one before
It is a little spoon tool that came in my carving tool set. This is the one : amzn.to/3I49RAn
It’s 12 8ths in inches if you needed that
Awesome
Did you say you made the eyes? Would love to see a video if you did.
They are cabochons and I painted the back of them
Wow!
Lewis Carol demanded the book cover be in Red.
I've read Berry Trotter as a child. It really is bad.
