Windows Server 2016: Based on Windows 10 version 1607
Windows Server 2019: Based on Windows 10 version 1809
Windows Server 2022: Based on Iron, despite the 21H2 version number
"Windows Server 2022 Insider Preview" here is actually the next server release, only identifying as Windows Server 2022 due to being early in development. Similar to how Windows Server 2022 identified itself as Windows Server 2019 up to build 20285, Windows Server 2016 is identified as Windows Server 2012 R2 up to build 98xx, etc. Early builds of a new version of Windows are always identified as the previous version.
