- Each year, thousands of people go to the Boundary Waters to escape the busy world, but what happens when your plans go awry?
Author Cary J. Griffith recounts the true-life odyssey of survival documented in his acclaimed book, Lost in the Wild. Part of Friends of the Boundary Waters Wilderness' bi-weekly webinar series, "Lunch with the Friends."
I really enjoyed the book, which I've listened to in audiobook format multiple times. I would be really interested in seeing a map of where Jason accidentally left the trail, as well as the location where he was ultimately found.
THANKYOU so much I love true wilderness stories but ones like this don’t present that often
I appreciate every detail told there is so much to learn from a story like this and then commenting on the strengths the right moves he made snd yes I have much empathy for what he went thru but I bet he learned much about himself and he wouldn’t trade that for anything
Very cool story! Thank you
Jason is my dad 😃
Steven, watch the entire film, and it does have maps included, you won't know if you use it as an audiobook.
i gave it four and a half minutes then got bored of the long introduction so I gave up,,, sorry
