We met Molly on the day she was filming this video, it was our first ever time in WDW and our first day in magic kingdom! I was so thrilled to see her to thank her for all the help and support her videos and advice had given me, and by extension making our dream trip a reality for us and our 5 children! They were also delighted to see her. She was so kind to stop and chat with us. I was gutted after we left that I hadn’t thought to get a picture with her. We met her again on our last day in WDW and also in magic kingdom! I managed to have a chat again, the kids and I got photos with her, Alan and Duckfist, and quite honesty this memory is as valuable to me as any pictures I have with the characters.
Thank you so much Molly. We absolutely adore you, and can’t wait to see what you do as you move on with new adventures 💖💖💖

I hope she knows how important she was getting people through 2 years of the pandemic. Some people literally couldn't travel to Disney, and watching vloggers was the only thing keeping them sane.

Oh Molly, Splash Mountain is the best ride in the magic kingdom. It's a little bit of everything that makes Disney special. Storytelling, thrills, and a great soundtrack that should not be getting replaced.
Thanks to Molly, I discovered other UA-cam streams and now moderate on a heap of Disney Community channels and have made lifelong friends! Would never have happened if I'd not found Miss Molly

I’m with you on just about every single one of these! Dole Whip - we love, but NOT pineapple, vanilla is our favorite. I know, plain, but yum! Splash I’m with you on! Philharmagic is absolutely one of my favorites too, and the People Mover - especially at night🤩one of my favorite ways to enjoy the evening.
We rode the Peoplemover 3 times in a row and got some of the BEST views of the first fireworks show a couple of weeks ago. It is definitely underrated and a must-do in my opinion.

Molly and her hilarious, helpful and fascinating videos took an important part in making our honeymoon the Disney trip of our dreams. We are now "Disney Adults" and have our next trip booked and. can't. stop. consuming. this. content. Can't wait to see what she does with her new endeavors. Love, Love,Love Molly! I have learned so much watching you. Had a mother daughter trip recently to Disney World and had the best time ever because of your videos. Yes, The People Mover is the most under-rated ride in Magic Kingdom. It was my 5 year old grandsons favorite ride when we were there last year.
Yes - gonna forgo dessert at dinner the day we go the MNSSHP in Sept and make a beeline for a coconut dole whip! Coconut is a fave of mine! Thanks for the awesome videos!! This will be my 1st trip since 1985!
I love the peanut fact at Storybook Circus! I have a few loved one's who are highly allergic and I've always wondered if any one with an allergy; especially little kiddos who sit on the ground and lay I the ground randomly, would be okay if they did there!

Thank you for this video a lot of good tips. I haven't been since 2002 (cue the gasps) so i definitely need to learn some new tricks. Also I must say I had no idea or I guess over looked the hub grass area, that is now going to be my (underrated) morning break spot. ❤️ thank you for all the great videos
Loved Philharmagic. My favorite thing to do was watch the kids' faces who were sitting around me. It really is a magic moment and it's sad that not very many people see it. 😊
My friend told me about Molly, since we are going to DW in September and I have been sharing the videos with my brother and SIL! I can't wait to see Disney through the eyes of my two nieces.
What a treat to start my day off with a coffee and Molly! I agree with most of the underrated/overrated list, but I would dare say that Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress is underrated in Tomorrowland and The Hall of Presidents is underrated in Liberty Square. Both are a delight and a great way to get some A/C! I'm going to miss seeing you on AE, Molly! ❤

100%%. I was a Disney novice. Went to Disneyland expecting peter pan to be this amazing ride and I was very underwhelmed. Thankfully we did not wait in line 🙌
Love love the People Mover. We have experienced so much on the on it. We have been stuck, which is fine because you r sitting. Tomorrowland at night is so beautiful from up there. Got to see the progress on Tron. The best is seeing the inside of Space Mountain when it’s lights are on! Plus, we were once onSpace Mountain with the lights on while on the ride because People Mover had broken down.
Molly you are the best!!! Can't agree with this more especially the People Mover and Phailharmagic being most underated attractions in the park. Never did either one for the longest time and when I actually did them I LOVED them! Similar to how I feel about ET ride in Universal.
Only one you got wrong IMO is Splash Mountain since it's such a long line always feel the ride is worth it. Just think it's your fear of water, which I'm not a psychologist but think stems from Ursula 😉😂...

Molly!! I love you and I love this. Perfect picks for overrated and underrated. I’m so on board with Jungle Cruise and Peter Pan being overrated for the line length.
My favorite trick to add to your Jungle Cruise advice: I love to go on *night* cruises. It looks super cool, the lines are shorter, and bonus - some of the skippers will clock when they have an "adults only" boat and make a few adjustments (nothing gross or too coarse - but less kiddie).
Ha! Same advice as you give for Splash Mountain! Seriously, try it for Jungle Cruise!

The only time Astro Orbiter is not overrated is when you ride it during the fireworks. Did that once not knowing the fireworks were starting and it was one of the best fireworks experiences I ever had.
I’m so excited to go for the first time! Stuff like this helps me with what to prioritize so much. Also question for any Disney experts, are the hours reduced in January? I’m so sad bc that’s the only time I can go.
Yes, BUT
Crowds are tiny
Temps are more moderate, and sometimes even a little chilly.
And most of all, Festival of the Arts at EPCOT.
We did Tony's on our 2012 trip- and requested the patio, and I booked during the parade. It was awesome. The food was mediocre, but we had the free dining plan, so, meh.

If I rode Peoplemover, watched Philharmagic, shopped at the Haunted Mansion store, got a Dole Whip, and watched the Dapper Dans on the way out of MK, I would be completely satisfied! ❤️

I go to Disney twice a year and have never known about the Pirate Map "game". How did I miss that and the other adventures at the other parks?

I hate to disagree with Molly McAwesome, but my family totally enjoyed Tony’s. we had no issues with food tasting bad, the service was wonderful and they had gluten free options that the chef came to our table to ask how the food tasted. While it may not be the best Italian restaurant in the world it’s far from overrated.
People mover is the best ride to relax and just take in the land. A must do anytime I have the pleasure of going to MK.
I do remember the baked potatoes! Although, I must admit that baked potatoes sound particularly good on a hot Orlando day.
haha I knew Molly would choose Splash. Splash is my favorite ride and I try to ride it a handful of times when I go to Magic Kingdom. Get a Lightning lane for the afternoon, go in the morning when the lines are short, and then at the end of the night when the lines die down again.
You don't get that wet when you compare it to the water rides at Universal. Those 2 rides drench you on every square inch or your body. Splash does just that, splash you a few times and it feels good because Florida is so damn hot.
And I am going to miss Zip-a-dee-doo-dah. The music makes me feel happy.

I don’t think Tony’s is overrated. I don’t hear anyone raving about it. When I ate there my expectations were so low, It was actually better than I expected.

I finally tried Dole Whip last year and only had the pineapple one. It was good but my guy got the swirl with cherry ( I can't recall the flavor but it was red) and it was so much better than plain pineapple Dole Whip.

I love the Dapper Dans, esp at Disneyland. I will sit on the curb and watch their whole show. No matter what else the day has brought, they bring the vibes every.single.time. Astro Orbiter is so UNDERRATED!! I love it!! It’s way better than Dumbo with the amazing view and slight thrill. The loading process is sucky, but up to 45 minutes is worth it imo!
I rarely comment. When we took our two oldest kids in the early 2000s (9 and six at the time), the people mover was suddenly our go-to attraction. My (then 9-year-old) daughter now operates Dumbo (stayed on after CP) and it's required foe ua to start in Magic Kingdom with the People Mover every time any of us goes down to Florida from Chicago.
Before you go Molly…. We want to see you find all the 50th interactive statues with your new magic band plus. All 4 parks…. One day. One Magic Band to rule them all

Must agree about:
PEOPLE MOVER - This ride is worthwhile on its own merits, but it's the little intangibles that make this underrated. You will feel like you've escaped the insanity of the park when you ride this one. It zips along fast enough that you get a nice breeze even on the hottest days. (It's not TOO fast, however, if you are worried about motion sickness.) You feel like you are floating above the park, unnoticed and unseen by everyone below. (This one should be rebranded as a magic carpet ride!) I've been on the People Mover, gotten to the end of the ride, and (depending on the crowds) the cast members will allow me to stay on and do another loop. I've even (almost) been able to take a nap on this one. Certainly if the timing is right, the kids will nod off and give you a breather. A nice respite, peaceful. It's great if you need a break. All that said, it's just fun!
JUNGLE CRUISE - This seems to have only gotten more popular (or "overrated") since the movie came out. Jungle Cruise (the ride) is NOT like the movie, folks. But the real issue for me isn't necessarily the long lines and heat, although those are bad enough. The real issue is that there is a more genuine "jungle cruise" over in Animal Kingdom called Kilimanjaro Safari. No, it's not on a boat, not through a jungle, but there ARE live animals. Somehow, the live animals are magic all in themselves and need no Disney touch for us to feel the full effect. Yes, Disney is great at making magic happen, but even Disney can't compete with the magical charm and majesty of these beautiful creatures. Yes, by all means take a ride on Jungle Cruise, especially if you've never been to Disney before. But the animatronic "cruise" animals pale in comparison with the real-life "safari" animals.
The Pirate Adventure game is great! The looks on peoples faces when things like skulls start coming to life and talking right next to them is priceless, bc most people don’t know about it 😂. We also got a fast pass last time we completed it. Which was awesome, bc we used it for pirates which had like an hour wait. As an added bonus, the maps are incredibly detailed and fantastic souvenirs to take home.
I didn't realize this was back, I thought they cancelled this game during/after COVID. Glad to hear it's returned
I 100% agree on the surprises though (I've been that random person surprised by one or two, though never played the game myself). IIRC, I had 2 cases several years ago of trying to stand in what I thought was "out of people's way" locations while looking at FP+ times or something else on my phone. I learned while standing in both areas that I was not 100% out of the way and a few things can happen there! :) One was a pirate skeleton appearing near the small water area to the left of Jungle Cruise (near the water fountains). The other was I think near the exit of the gift shop you go through after riding Pirates (right next to some cannons ;) ).

Stage show was adorable! We caught it the other day. Yes, it is brutal out there. Bring an umbrella to Disney for both rain AND shade.

Splash Mt is perfectly Disney!
Zippideedooda was always THE song of WDW. We’d sing it in the car on our way to the Magic Kingdom long before there ever was a Splash Mountain. It is all about happiness and appreciating what’s great about all life. The Uncle Remus folktales are a beautiful example of African storytelling and should not be lost because of the horrible history of slavery. The music is incredible, and the stories are entertaining and incredibly clever. We must not erase any part of history so as not to repeat the bad things and should celebrate the great things like this.
That said, the Tiana re-theme is a brilliant plan for a fresh theme with similarly terrific music.
I hope they keep Zippideedooda playing in the Magic Kingdom, though!

Yeah, I concur about Peter Pan's Flight. If you're an adult, it's certainly interesting enough to go...once, and say you did. It's okay, but not so awesome to be worth braving that long line too many times. I WILL give it credit, though, for having a lot of interactivity when you're in line, particularly in the kid's room. Good way to pass the time.
