Ms Netrebko, anyone that has anything negative to say does not truly know your voice. I’m glad you don’t listen to them. Trust yourself, you have become the best. Your voice is a gift to the world. I hope you sing for many years to come. Thank you for sharing it with us. Your fans love you. 👑👑👑🌹🌹🌹💋💋💋❤️❤️❤️
Good for you Anna! In one ear and out the other. Jealousy creates a lot of idiotic criticisms. You are fantastic! Keep on doing what you are doing! You're leading the way into a bright new day for opera!
Hello Dear Anna, I have seen you in the Royal Opera in London in Manon last week and you were magnificent. Your voice is just phenomenal. The whole opera was unforgeable and you looked just stunning. I was not lucky enough to hear you in Russia even though I come from Moscow. So I came to London to hear you. Hope you are having a great time and hope all the other performances will be as brilliant as the one I have seen was. Best wishes Dmitrij.
I'm not knowledgeable abt vocal pieces, but your voice simply catch me at the first second, stunning! You r so unique and stand out so uniquely. Your singing is simply enjoyable which led me to explore more of the vocal world in classical music. And such beautiful face to look at. Hope to see u in Hong Kong.
...here I'll make a short list of some "zero contributions" that Anna Netrebko brought to actual "Opera order": - Perfect intonation of notes. Now when I listen Verdi or Puccini, I know what notes Violetta or Mimì are singing. - Perfect rendition of rhythm. Now when I listen Verdi or Puccini, I know what is the "metrics" of the music they wrote. - Perfect knowledge of the score (harmony, phrasing and counterpoint) and NOT ONLY one’s own part.
@ad80ad 1: i did write "optional", but if you choose to sing it make sure you HAVE it. 2: that is perfect? she goes flat in the middle of it at 4:36 obviously you don't have a perfect pitch - just like her. 3: you're the one who said she has perfect pitch, i pointed out she hasn't. she's choosing to sing coloratura roles without being a coloratura so i'm not reducing anything it's her upgrading herself.
@eradesso 1 - The "optional" note is not an E but an E-flat 2 - The high e-FLAT is not in the score and being this aria very dramatic I prefer the "low" E-flat written by Verdi. 3 - Anna Netrebko not only can do a PERFECT High-E-flat watch?v=q4sONjSaHWA, but she COULD even sing the original "RI-TRO-VI" with "VI" on high C that is a HUGE tour de force (same video) 4 - The fact you reduce this aria to an high E-flat circus arena shows the level of your culture (and not only musical one).
@09avenger she's been in Austria and Uk - and so have I. There's people who don't sit on youtube all day being groupies and they actually travel to listen to good music although sometimes they encounter average artists as is Netrebko's case. Anna's current schedule is proving my point: she is finally shifting towards lyric soprano repertoire - which I have always said she could be very good at. As coloratura soprano she's less than average because she isn't a coloratura.
Дорогая Анна! Спасибо за откровенные ответы на сложные вопросы, я обязательно отправлю на Ваш сайт моих студентов ;-) Спасибо огромное! Здоровья Вам побольше!!
@09avenger by the way, stupid would be listening to someone you don't like in the same role 3 times and stupid would be not giving any artist another chance to surprise you and win you over. Sometimes it happens sometimes it doesn't. I will never go see Netrebko again but I will happily listen to her future approaches at a repertoire she has the instrument for.
Anna, your voice is wonderfully rich and luscious and getting better and richer all the time. I loved you in "Manon" at Covent Garden last year and am looking forward to hearing you on 14 April in Vienna in Anna Bolena. What a great opera for any soprano who can sing it. I saw clips of the premiere last Saturday on You Tube and I thought you were were great. Especially both "Al dolce guidami" and "Coppia Iniqua" were terrific. Congratulations and good luck. See you on the 14th April
@eradesso 1 - If you choose to sing it, be sure to sing an e - F L A T, and this is 50% of the work. If you start to say that it's an E it's not a good beginning. LOL! 2 - at 4:36 there is a slight decrease of "vibrato", just to make one of the purest high E-flat I ever heard. If you want I can collect a good playlist of famous documented "Stecche" of some big (REALLY big) Italian opera stars, so you can learn what does it mean singing a WRONG note. LOL!
@era desso Why would she hit a high E in "Sempre libera", when it's written in A flat major? Usually sopranos sing an E flat! Makes one wonder how well YOU know music and scores?
Lei non ha detto che non bisogna ascoltare le critiche, ma che bisogna prendere le informazioni che possono esserti utile per migliorare, e lasciar perdere le critiche a titolo gratuito...a me sembra un consiglio molto valido!
3 - Anna did wonderfully many coloratura roles, but unfortunately Violetta is not a coloratura role, but a DRAMATIC-COLORATURA one. Anna restored that dramatic temper in Violetta, destroyed by TOO MUCH soubrettes that think Verdi is the Offenbach for the poors, while he's the Beethoven Made in Italy. Anna is evidently a dramatic-lyric-coloratura soprano, she can sing everything. Now go to study solfeggio. Thanks.
@eradesso I had the privilege of working with Anna in Japan this September, and she sang both Manon and Violetta absolutely amazingly!!! and went way above high C, so next time do your research before you start slacking somebody off!!!
- Taking SERIOUSLY her work and the characters she performs (no spaghetti cheating and similar abominations we are ab-used of) I think for a great connoisseur like you these are…how can we say? Details…but for a newbie like me it’s still important to know what notes I’m listening to, where they lead, how they fit with the underlying material, and mostly what these notes are teaching me. I’m sorry…Cheers!
who cares about critics anyway :)) I used to listen to classical music a lot, but opera - not that much. After hearing some of Anna's performances I'm all into opera now. And I love it :)
@eradesso Hi Elis...ehm...eradesso. I'm the next "ignorant freak" who have no knowledge of opera: for example I'm convinced that Traviata doesn't end in D flat minor, that in Tristan und Isolde, beginning of Dritter Aufzug, first violins doesn't play an augmented diatonic derivation of "Sehnsucht Leitmotiv", that in the First act of Bohème, 8 bars before 31 in the score, the tenor doesn't have a "diminuendo" on B flat, because the tenor on my CD sings it FFFFF "crescendo", and so on…
Hello Anna from México,i want to say you are fantastic soprano and beautiful woman, what is your opinion of pop music?,do you like The Beatles music for example.
I'm Brazilian, and here the opera is no so famous as in europe or in north america, but i really have to say that I am your biggest brazilian fan. Everybody compare you to Callas, but I don't Care coz i already hear callas, and she isn't so good as you. You are the best Soprano, better than Sumi jo, Ana Moffo, Gruberova, Flemming, Kanawa. I just love you =3 (forgive-me for all the wrong words thath I write)
@eradesso - I know your posts, I responded to your comment: "she wasn't able to hold pitch beyond high C 5 years ago and she isn't now." - this is a plain lie. Also, she will be singing Manon in Japan next - I am sure this would be fabulous as almost everything she has done for the last 5 years. She is not even in her prime, and your Dessay lost her voice (NOT ANNA), because Anna's voice has a LOT of fflexibility and she can sing whatever she wants. I feel sorry for you and your predictions.
@09avenger better and better where? she wasn't able to hold pitch beyond high C 5 years ago and she isn't now. And she is proving me very right by finally leaving the coloratura repertoire alone ;)
@09avenger this shows the caliber of fans (reads: psychopaths) Netrebko draws. This is the kind of people that makes her famous. Ignorant freaks who have no knowledge of opera. It's a good match really.
I'm not a huge fan of yours because you're still learning and have some way still to go in terms of colouratura technique and other vocal and musical things (and of course, stars like Callas are famous for a reason and are really special), but I can tell that you put a lot of effort into things and you're a great actress and very beautiful of course. These candid backstage moments also show that you're also a very down-to-earth and sweet person. Keep learning and growing as an artist!
When my mama talks to me and I dont hear her she says (in russian) "becky what i say always goes thru one ear and goes out the other" lol :) yay for russian sayings :D

@eradesso How is your solfeggio course doing??? LMAO Yes, Anna Netrebko does "catastrophies", you are right. Even the invention of printing was a "catastrophe" for someone indeed. LOL!
@ad80ad - eradesso lives in Italy and heard Anna live 3 times. Since Anna sang in Italy only once, he must have traveled far at least 2 times to listen to someone whom he hates. I found it hard to believe. He is not only a clown, he is also a liar. Regarding solfeggio, I do not think he will ever pass the class; he is too mediocre. I am having such fan reading his idiotic comments. He wrote once that Anna must be sent back to mop floors. That should tell you who he is indeed. LOL
LOL!...I'm wondering how the people who said "you have not the voice" feel now...looking at you that tell us the story from there, as one of the most respected opera singers of the XXI century. Something like the ones who rejected Einstein in mathematics? ;-) But I'm sure you are still the same "young student" that doesn't care about anything...true artists are always "young students" (only of themselves?)... On the contrary, I bet they are still "old"...only a little more than before.
Hi Anna,
you are my favorite soprano singer, and I always come back to you at the end. Your voice is just so good. Thanks.
Ms Netrebko, anyone that has anything negative to say does not truly know your voice. I’m glad you don’t listen to them. Trust yourself, you have become the best. Your voice is a gift to the world. GOD she is absolutely beautiful without makeup.
Ma se ce l'ha anche in questo video... 🤦
but she insists on using blackface anyway 😂😂😂😂😂

ANNA YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS 👌💞 Твой голос дар природы и ты его даришь людям . Благодаря тебе многие полюбили твое исполнение и вообще мир оперы 💖

Wowww really good information, thank's Anna.
Sometimes, ignoring the crap is hard. Especially, when you are an idealist. Work is more than talent.
I loved the way you show how you thew it away with your hand :D

good evening madame Nertebko my name is Christin and I was wondering what do u do to warm up your voice for an opera
Bravo☀️
@eradesso

Ok: she is gorgeous!
Hi Anna ! You are great singer and y very intelligent people.!!

very wisdom
Others have a great voice but you have the triple threat. God bless.

It is a world of competition. Obviously they wanted to remove her from the road.
Молодец, Анна!
This is a good advice!
Hello Anna from México,i want to say you are fantastic soprano and beautiful woman, what is your opinion of pop music?,do you like The Beatles music for example.
@eradesso Have you heard Anna live?
Brava Anna

Anna Netrebko é diva BeijaEU!
🎵🎶🎼❤🩹❤🩹❤🩹🎹🎶🎵
@ad80ad perfect intonation? yes, you are the next ignorant.
There has not been one performance of Sempre libera where Netrebko has actually managed to hit and sustain the optional High E. She always goes off pitch. Brutally.
So I'm not so sure how well you know music and/or scores.
"the reigning new diva of the early 21st century" acording to the Associated Press Eat that Anna's classmates! XD
you're awesome :D I didn't expect that somebody will tell you that you don't have a voice :D that's ridiculous
@rednoctifer And where the hell is "that" other girl??? =)
"On to Berlin" is everywhere on Twitter!
You are fully supporting the war they say!
I love you baby, i love you so much, thank U

@eradesso have you got any shame? Listen to her recent Michaela, or go back to
school ( if they accept you), LOL
Hı Anna.
They were jealous, Who told you at the conservatorium that you dont have voice
