@@bjb7587 Yeah. When I was a kid and I found out Calvin and Hobbes had ended years ago, I cried. I’ve recovered from it since then, but I still miss Calvin and Hobbes. That’s why I make these videos.
This and Bloom County were out about the same time, so much laughter in just those two strips. A couple years ago they did a crossover where Opus finds the Hobbes stuffed tiger and returns it to Calvin who's in his 20s or thereabouts. They did a really great job on it, funny as well as emotional.
I love the babysitter ones lol. Also, I just love that Calvin and Hobbes are like Carly and Sam. I can picture them having their own web show like iCarly, on UA-cam lol
I just got banned from Reddit. I think I had unintentionally broken a rule or two on there. I had messed things up on my first account, tried another and I think I got caught for ban evasion, even though I was trying my best not to. Anyway so I’m having a bad night because of that, there were a lot of groups I was enjoying. But Calvin and Hobbes is cheering me up

If surpass is the right word. But nothing will ever beat Calvin & Hobbes. Even though I kind of think Calvin is running the world now. With Hobbes as his chief advisor. May our lives not be nasty, brutish, and short. :\

He also thought that it didn’t bring out anything new in Calvin and found it strange that Uncle Max couldn’t address Calvin’s parents by name
The writer said that he didn’t give names to his parents because they were only important as Calvin’s parents and not as characters that needed to be fully fleshed out

It can be hard to understand someone’s tone on the internet, but the tone I got from you was that you were just asking whether or not it mattered Hobbes was real, which was a genuine question and not rude. I suppose that it’s not really important because Hobbes is real to Calvin, which is what really matters, but I’ve honestly picked up a lot of evidence that Hobbes is real since he’s done things that would be impossible unless he was alive, like tying Calvin up, lifting Calvin up to hide the shoes, putting on a tie when Susie came over and Calvin had no idea meaning it couldn’t have been him, taking the cookies from Susie’s tea party while Calvin was kissing Susie’s hand, and writing and illustrating Calvin’s story with him having no idea what it was about until he read it. But it’s just a theory of mine, and Bill Watterson made sure that both viewpoints were never officially confirmed or denied.

Stupendous cartoon strip, pretty awful voice overs. Worse than awful on second listen.
I instinctively turned off the sound from the get-go. Guess that was the right choice!
