    I laughed out loud at the investigative flashback for the yellow smudge. It was like a crime scene recreation. Loved it and love this project!

    Thank-you so much Sarah for taking the time to teach us color mixing. Instead of the usual, "Just buy the paints". I for one have been able to use the knowledge you have given us and used it on other projects.

    I love this channel, it's all about enjoying the process. Learning, but also knowing that art is not about perfection. I always feel motivated after watching one of your videos.

    Sarah, I really appreciate the tutorial and especially the reasoning behind what you're doing, such as the brush strokes.

    I watched this prior to doing the painting so I'd have an idea of what needed to be done. Glad I did! I was still painting the door when Sarah had moved onto the terra cotta pots however I was able to catch up :-) A happy mistake that I made was dry brushing the bricks. I loved how it turned out. Thanks for the video!

    Alrighty I decided to just go step by step with you and it turned out looking kinda (kinda a door, kinda a brick wall, kinda a bush, etc.). Actually for my first watercolor I'm pretty happy with it but that could be the beer talking. I think the next time I'll watch all the way through first. And there will be a next time. Thank you for the great instructional video, the fun chatter and the step by step process.

    Sarah, your paintings are so beautiful, they often just make me teary eyed--and this one is no exception. The colors are GORGEOUS. I wish I could use that solid handle that looks like a giant keyhole and open it up to se what is on the other side, because with a door that beautiful, it's gotta be amazing!! Cannot wait to paint this beauty!!

    Sarah so you are my go to, to complete a painting. I started painting about 2 months ago. I gave up TV and facebook. I found the pen that had always been in my phone at that is how this started. I couldn't wait for evening to get started recreating pictures. Soon I lost my S pen to buy another was expensive I did not care to find another proved next to impossible. I ordered one from Idk China. Not willing to wait I took out a pencil and paper I discovered you tune tutorials! I couldn't believe Iit I made a sketch of my daughter! What? Next my daughter came home with a flip kit watercolor. That was months ago since then I am having the most fun with you. Started with Jenna, good lessons still. Sheyda is good, Ellen I really get personality wise and that young lady Emma Jane has hit her stride her natural painting ability is craI thought I was watching an underrated girl. Her natural artistic ability is crazy good. So much terrific on free you tube! You Miss Sarah are it though for me. You not presenting as an infomercial first liked that about all I mentioned. One might have crossed. But seriously you are authentic talented patient (Kennan) Kidding! This is long sorry. I just want you to know I appreciate you so much I have been going through the toughest time in my life. * I have had a 2.0 hard life too! This past 5-6 months rotten but I found a spot I can rest my spinning mind lose the hateful sad and angry thoughts. Now here is the Sarah is specialist of all part. While I learn and enjoy the others I seem to be stuck on completing any work unless I am do one of your projects not necessarily "following along" every time either some times it is following so closely in total I have seen 1 1/2 hour video 4 hours worth. Today I finally got to your lil shop bought all the basics like a intro to you products. I can't wait to try. I have sure graduated though from the flip kit probably in a couple grande but the savings of not spending all that time shopping I am saving some money, really ;) lol in case he reads this. I thank you you little honey, might have saved my life, not an exaggeration. Please tell all the staff I am sure I am not alone when I say youare doing a ggod thing it's way bigger than a painting of a pig (she is so cute) I put Pp P is for Pretty Pig. I gave her some pearls, she (Patty) had an unfortunate incident so she has one black eye! I am making the alphabet to go around the top of my twin grandbabies playroom just joined all the soc med. I will share soon. Never did this before either Ha!

    Hi Sarah and Keenan! Would you please consider doing a tutorial just on color mixing? A “beyond the basics”? Missed the fun facts portion 🤷‍♀️

    Your colors always looks so much darker (less opaque) than mine do when you are mixing them. Is there a reason why that is?

    Do the liquid watercolors allow you to blend/lighten on the actual painting better? I find it difficult to blend/lighten with my dry tube watercolors.

    • @LetsMakeArt
      @LetsMakeArt  4 роки тому +1

      Hi Shana! It is super easy to blend or lighten with the liquid watercolors, all you have to do is add water :)

    Is there a video that breaks down the spots for a picture?
    I only know of work lights to darks and avoid opposite colors coming together, so not to merge.... New sub this past month. Stay awesome!

    I had a bad migraine when we were on vacation. So my husband and grandson left so I could rest. We did not know they were remodeling the motel. I was trying to rest but they were working on the room next to ours with power tools. I was so frustrated that I made a video to show how loud it was. I said “i have a migraine and need to be in quiet but the people in the next room are screwing” then you hear the electric screwdriver make that noise it makes.... I continued recording and talking but you get the idea
