I produced and directed this LIVE broadcast. I can say it was an experience. It was the closing set of a 4 days festival. Laurent Garnier's performance was set to last 3 hours, he did 5. Once again he proved he is one of the TOP artists in this culture of dance electronic music.
I was there and I can say that Neopop is probably the best festival in Europe. The place, people, sound, lights, line up, organization, all is just perfect. Its more than a festival, its a journey and a musical experience for those who love electronic music!

I was there with Alfonsvs himself by my side when the track was played, around 11am. The guy couldn't believe! Those kind of memories that worth and will be forever! And also last Neopop before covid, hope this year will come back again!!
Agreed. I've searched all over and all uploads sound like the same sample rate, I persevered with the upload on Mixcloud however and the low levels of the first track or two steadily increase and open up a lot more. Still sounds a bit squashed, but its still a good listen if you have a system with a bit of power to push it.
Quel dommage que Garnier soit perdu musicalement depuis 20 ans ! En effet, que ce soit au niveau House ou Techno il ne joue pas les meilleurs disques et on peut même dire que pas mal de ses choix de disques dans ses mix sont d'une qualité artistique plus que douteuse, à l'image de ce mix ci-dessus...

Et concernant Garnier la qualité de ses tracklists s'est largement détériorée depuis le début des années 2000. Il suffit de regarder le tracklist de son set ci-dessous pour constater que les tracks House ou Techno de qualité y sont minoritaires ! Pour comparer, regarde les tracklists de Dj Zadig, le meilleur Dj Techno Français depuis 15 ans : aucun track à jeter dans ses sets, une sélection pointue et intègre et une technique de mix au top !

J'ai travaillé dans le disque et je la connais assez bien pour mesurer la baisse de qualité des tracklists de Garnier depuis environ 22 ans ! Donc avant de parler dans le vent, regarde un peu mes playlists House et techno sur mon compte UA-cam et on en reparlera ensuite ! Quant à Zadig, écoutes un peu ses sets sur UA-cam et tu verras la différence de qualité dans la sélection de disques !!!!!
