Growing up, being introduced as the "black sheep in the family" immensely affected my ability to recognize myself when I could do something people did not expect. The term never left me, even after I had my first job after deciding not to continue with my education. It was worse having to hear that, even after having my first daughter. I chose not to be surrounded by the same family I had then, and I never felt better about myself. I realized I've always been the same way I am, but now, without the people who constantly tell me I'm making the wrong decision, I will have to live a miserable life.
I think a lot of people lack in self love because we see it as vanity or arrogance, but most of us are good people and we need to realise that. If we all had a friend that spoke to us the way we speak to ourselves we wouldn't like that person, we wouldn't be friends with them, so why do we allow ourselves to speak like that? I think we need to realise we are enough and we don't need to be the epitome of good morality to be considered a good person, and if you don't feel like you're not the person you want to be then you can take action to become whatever you want yourself to be.
First off, Merry Christmas, but i just wanna say thanks man. I've been on my own healing/self improvement journey and your vudeos are such a good tool to assist with that. When I started watching you it was (I believe) a little over a year ago and you only had like 2k subscribers. Thanks for continuing to share your thoughts with us, and congrats on how far you've come. It's really insane how fast your channel grew and I hope and believe that it'll continue to grow.
