Why isn‘t there some kind of a head to head discussion. Nassim Haramein vs. somebody with „old school physics“ background. Someone reflecting the opinion of this video. Both perfectly prepared to proof everything they say. Well, this would bring some real clarity in my eyes.

I've read Haramein's Schwarzschild paper many years ago, and as a physicist from this field (quantum gravity) I was really surprised by how sloppy and weird it was. Apparently that didn't stop him from producing more pseudoscience. So I really liked your video. One small remark (if already noted by others, forget about it): you pronounce Schwarzschild as "Schwarz-child", but it's actually pronounced as Schwarz-shield" ;) All the best!

I would love an in-depth look at his most recent paper "the origin of mass and the nature of gravity" because the way him and his team describe it, it sounds extremely plausible to a layperson like myself who has also spent a lot of time learning about physics but certainly not a professional or an expert.
I'm curious about his claim that quantum vacuum fluctuations in the electromagnetic field result in gravity, the strong force, and the color confinement force... I can't seem to find ANY real physicists out there going through the paper (either to confirm OR to deny) seems like his work is just being ignored but I would like to know if his latest work is actually more rigorous or just more clever in his attempts to manipulate people. There are apparently multiple PHD physicists working with him on it so I would really like to see a technical breakdown of the paper in depth, as I'm not sure where to even start in analyzing it directly myself.

    • @Meromorphic
      @Meromorphic  10 місяців тому

Honestly it's been a while since I read the paper, so I don't remember whether that was something stated in there. Regardless, if we assume that is the case, he still had to make his hypothetical black hole proton have more mass than a mountain which we know from decades of experiments is simply not the case. The standard model is probably the single most successful theory in Physics. To disprove it, you would need a SHITLOAD of evidence on your side - not just some frankly sloppy calculations that get a fundamental fact of nature wrong.
I'll be happy to revisit this if he does one day come up with actual proof. Not gonna hold my breath, though.

Brother, i must say that i´m a very great fan of Nassim Haramein work, and was waiting for the day to come to buy, not one, but 64 of his ark krystals, at a cost of $76.800,00 thousand dollars, or some R$400.000,00 Reals, since i´m from Brazil. That´s enough to buy a house, a BIG ONE here in Brazil.
Because i believe in Intelectual Honesty, everything that you have said is intelectually honesty, even a child with rudimentary notions of mathmatics could undestand what you are saying, i´m not capable of buying the Krystals anymore. If they are based in the science in the papers, and they are wrong, than, by logical necessity, the krystals are wrong also, because they are the product of an intelectual mistake.
I know haramein for more than 10 years, theres a lot of things that he said that made strong sense to me, but i lacked the intelectual rigor to really examine the degree of truth contained in them. You contributed to set myself free, as it is written:

Whilst, I do maintain their are 'some' people that are on the fringes of science, that DO have good intentions, and are genuinely trying to push the boundaries of understanding, whilst using accepted physics and methodolgy, you have proved to me adequately that he is simply a white lab coated snake oil salesman. I think if you truly stood for what you say, discussion and feedback should be welcomed because that is how you GROW. By seeing faults that either you find solutions too or realise it's time to move in a different direction or find a different perspective. That kind of behaviour speaks volumes about how he views his own credentials. Yeah, obviously the crystal thing makes him seem much less sincere considering he should know better with his background. However, I'm interested why it would be incorrect to add variables that cancel out. It seems like he is proposing that there are hidden variables, and maybe there are other evidence of them outside of those formulas, but I don't know enough about physics to know if that is a possibility (regardless of whether he presents compelling evidence). Also, I'm surprised you didn't look into his "Best Paper" award at the University of Liège, Belgium in 2009 for The Schwarzschild Proton paper. That's where he got his start I think and seems to offer more credibility than the publication you had trouble finding and the allegedly pay-for-play ones. He (and/or original uploader) mentioned it in his 4hr lecture that is now on UA-cam under the title "Nassim Haramein At Rogue Valley Metaphysical Library" (I saw it so long ago it was on Google Video when that was a thing).

It's a well known fact that if you claim to be a physicist or god forbid you get a PhD in physics later in life you can simply claim whatever you want. Never forget Pauling and Benveniste totally flip-flopped after making very important discoveries. A doctoral degree does not make one immune to irrationality. It's particularly bizarre in this case because his algebra while circular is at least self-consistent if you look at individual bits. He's clearly not devoid of basic numeracy. Every here and then he even seems to be able to use jargon correctly in a way that suggests he isn't *purely* a markov chain of smart sounding words. Then again perhaps he's just copied someone else. It's quite sad that he's devoted his life to both scamming people and undermining actual scientists.

Hi there. I stumbled on this today because the Sonic Bloom festival is about to happen in Colorado. I stopped attending after 2012 because I realized the producer was one of Haramein's shills. One of the unspoken goals of the festival is to recruit for this bullshit. It's way bigger than those Ark crystals, Haramein has a compound in Hawaii and has been recruiting (I guess it's networking?) from festivals for decades. He has people out there earning for him at all of them. It's like a transcendental pyramid scheme. Your sister possibly found one of his shills at one of these festival talks. This weekend, during this festival, this festival producer is going to try to get people to give him an hour and a half to listen to him talk about this unified theory shit - and he knows a lot of them will be inebriated and malleable. The festival is so built around it, they call the space The Unified Field during the festival and the producer lists being a Resonance faculty member as his primary occupation. He calls himself a physicist, but he's really a dulcimer player and a festival producer. I think he was in the string cheese incident or something.
THANK YOU for putting out content about this guy's grift.

I must point out that I was very impressed with the in-depth research you did following your sister's curiosity to go down the rabbit hole.
Although I think that in the process itself you missed a few important things that you did not seem to fully understand their weight (literally). I will focus on one key: It’s true that the ratio
n/R*ml you saw actually comes to the same Schwarzschild solution. But, it using the holographic concept, which is something that was not exist at 1920’s. And that should be noted. As you can see, he divides the “shell” space n (imaginary of course, because we live in 3D) by the volume R contained in it (and get a constant number) all by thinking that the shell boundaries dictate the relative amount of information (energy) expressed in Planck units, emerges from the trapped volume and multiplied by its Planck’s mass to produce mass in general. And that's my dear friend, an amazing and a NEW thing in itself. Because it means that the above solution can be reached from only simple geometric reasons and maybe also getting us to the real source of gravity (Occam's razor) without using long calculations of General Relativity that uses complex tensors and metrics.. and that my dear friend, you missed.
Another thing that you could raise in your review as one that actually does accept the concept of the proton as a black hole is to innocently ask how then the proton did not fade and disappear following Hawking radiation. I raise this because I myself have asked myself this question. And I came to the conclusion that it does support this idea without Hawking's radiation limit. Well, The short answer is that time slows down from the proton's point of view so the decay process is extremely slow on a much larger scale than the age of the universe.

Just asinine. First you jump to some of the implications in terms of products based on his scientific theories which are all valid and consistent (as far as they go) with known facts of physics. Why is it always the people with the least accomplishments to their name who are always trying to criticise those who actually look at the assumptions that are implied and often flawed in modern day physics and coherently challenge them? Maybe because they lack talent themselves? Let's look at several truths that modern physics still doesn't want to deal with:
    1. Distinguishing between experimental and observational data on the one hand and the interpretation of those data on the other. Data are often open to more than one interpretation. Any interpretation is based on certain assumptions, which may be unverified or even unverifiable. - The author criticises Haramein's assumptions not because he can prove that his assumptions are flawed but just because they don't align with what he believes.
    2. A model of reality is not reality itself. A model or theory is always a simplification, an approximation; it may have a degree of validity and/or utility without being literally true. Even if the equations associated with a particular theory or model allow accurate calculations of real events, this is no guarantee that any particular physical interpretation of those equations corresponds to mechanisms in the real world. - So Haramein's model can enable more accurate calculations of real events but the products based on those theories may or may not be of value to the world.
    3. Mathematical abstractions such as zero-dimensional particles, one-dimensional strings, two-dimensional spacetime ribbon-tape, and curved spacetime are not concrete realities! These concepts can be useful in certain contexts, but they have no concrete existence outside the human imagination. The thing that most scientist including the author of this video has failed to grasp is that they cannot directly influence the real world and explain nothing! This is the fatal flaw of most university scientists who either make up or follow absurd theories, or ‘mazes of unrealities’, that are passed off as ‘science’.
    4. Another deep flaw of many so called scientists is that there are no ultimate explanations of natural phenomena. If we are to find the direct causes of events, one needs to look to real substances, energies, forces, and entities, whether physical or superphysical. Things that apply at the micro level should generally also apply at the macro level. There is little to no attempt to reconcile the profound disconnect between all of their strange theories. Consider that the standard model predicts the Higgs boson, which shows up sometimes, among the total number of 61 elementary fermions and bosons! And the Higgs boson is said to be a component of the hypothetical Higgs field made up of elementary particles that supposedly acquire mass by interacting with this field - including the Higgs particle of which the Higgs field consists! This is said to occur through spontaneous symmetry-breaking of the SU(2) gauge symmetry - mind you, an abstract mathematical symmetries theorists have dreamt up to classify and ‘understand’ fundamental particles, which is said to have no spin, electric charge, or colour charge, and to be so unstable that it decays into other particles almost immediately! There are or were extensions of the standard model that predicted the existence of more than one kind of Higgs boson. But now the CMS and the ATLAS experimental teams at the Large Hadron Collider have said that they have found the Higgs Boson because each detected a spike in their data which they interpreted to be a very heavy particle with a mass of 125.3 and 126.5 GeV respectively that is supposedly ‘consistent with’ the Higgs boson, despite there being numerous discrepancies with predictions. Amazing what one can learn by doing the equivalent of smashing things apart at higher and higher speeds!?! And let us not forget those leptons and quarks which are said to be structureless, zero-dimensional, infinitely small particles (you know, infinitesimal points also known as abstractions, that don't have any concrete realities with measurable properties). And riddle me this? Scientist claim that if the electron are infinitely small, the electromagnetic force surrounding it would have an infinitely high energy, since electrical force increases as distance decreases; the electron should therefore have an infinite mass!?! So an electron with a mass of 9.1 x 10-28 grams, or 511 keV (thousand electron-volts). How does scientist like the author get around this silliness? They use a a mathematical trick: they simply divide each positive infinity by a negative infinity and then substitute the experimentally known values. (i.e. ‘renormalization’ - pioneered by Richard Feynman).
And let's dig into some of conventional physics other silly properties:
What is 'Colour charge’? - A purely abstract ‘property’.
What is quantum ‘spin’? - it does not refer to the classical concept of spin; spin-½ electrons, for example, supposedly have to be rotated through 360° twice in order to return to their original position.
What is ‘isospin’? - it is claimed that if a nucleon (a particle composing an atomic nucleus) is ‘spun’ one way it becomes a proton, and if ‘spun’ the other way it becomes a neutron!?! But such ‘spinning’ takes place not in the space we move in, but in an imaginary mathematical realm!?!
Let's look at the "six types" of quarks - No single quarks has ever been directly observed, and their existence is inferred from the correspondence of their expected properties with the light, heat and path generated by a violent collision in a particle accelerator. This is despite the fact that accelerator experiments produces more data than could ever be interpreted, so supercomputers sift through this information looking for the patterns that theorists have "decided" are important. Scientists say in some particle collisions, concentrated jets of particles are emitted in certain directions, and this was "interpreted" to mean that unobserved quarks are being hit which then emit observable particles in the direction in which they are moving. But up until now quark theory has made few if any predictions that were subsequently verified and is continuously modified to accommodate new "observations". Remember Murray Gell-Mann first proposed the theory in 1964, at that time there were only three quarks and three antiquarks. Now the number is 36, plus 8 gluons, and not a single one of these supposedly physical particles has ever been directly observed. Each quark is theorized to carry an electric charge measuring either one-third or two-thirds of an electron charge, but no such charges have ever been detected!?!
I could go on. As is evident that are serious problems with a theory in which ‘virtual’ particles are continually appearing from nowhere and then disappearing so fast as to be unobservable. Not only do such events violates the law of the conservation of energy, but physicists like the author turn a blind eye to this as it lasts only for a fraction of second, which is allegedly allowed by the Heisenberg ‘uncertainty principle’. But consider that at any given moment there are unlimited numbers of such particles, so no matter how briefly each one exists, this amounts to a permanent loan of infinite energy. If one thinks about the general relativity theory, all this energy should curve the universe into a little ball - which obviously doesn’t happen! Experiments confirm that detectable electron-positron pairs surround every charged particle. The author's vaunted quantum theory does not explain where they come from or go to; the equations simply contain a ‘creation operator’ and an ‘annihilation operator’. Consider that nothing comes from nothing, so there must be a subquantum energy realm not included in standard physics, out of which physical particles crystallize and back into which they can dissolve. (Hmmm. This sounds like Nassim Haramein and the idea of black holes?). And yet even, Richard Feynman invented the notion that a positron (anti-electron) was really an electron travelling backwards in time. Are we all starting to see how the author's notion of physics has serious problems with it? Because you know, the universe is not connected!

Great video. I don’t have the physics background to parse his works myself, but I do have a science background and can understand when a bad methodology is pointed out.
Unfortunately, even at the highest levels of science education, my personal experience was that people’s laziness or apathy led even students at a prestigious university to fudge numbers, cut corners, dismiss unexpected data points, and generally arrive at the right results the wrong way - when the training wheels were on. I shuddered to think about how these people would repeat those behaviors when pursuing their own research, and it led me to take the cowardly path of abandoning my studies in biology.
I am glad that there are people out there who care about rigorous scientific discipline and who will defend the rest of us against the fudgers.

The whole reason we do peer review in science is specifically to counteract all those lazy biases and shortcuts people might be taking.
If I can do the thing in the same way that you said you did it and get the same result that it's probably at least partially valid especially if 27 other people can do it.

Think in term of soap bubbles in a bathtub...people can manipulate but to do so they have to use truth in order to sell lies, learn how to process information correctly and you ll use that truth while ignoring lies..

I had the misfortune of attending one of Mr. Haramein's tapings back in 2009 (when I was working towards my BS in Physics). I naively thought that he was going to present actual research on a Grand Unified Field Theory (which typically refers to the unification of the strong and electroweak forces). I could only sit there with a slack-jawed expression as he proceeded to vomit absolute nonsense about "sacred geometry", aliens and pyramids, and other New Age bullshit. Not once did I see a single equation displayed in his presentation, let alone any actual analytic or numerical results with accompanying explanations. It was all incoherent world salad. Dollars to donuts, I guarantee his "paper" is nowhere to be found in those 2008 AIP Conference Proceedings on GUTs. It's simultaneously frustrating and sad to see so much delusion and Dunning-Kruger going on...
This video deserves many more views and certainly a significantly higher like-dislike ratio. I can only imagine that the source of downvotes is exclusively from other practitioners of woo and pseudoscience in general; otherwise, my faith in humanity will continue to sharply decline.

meromorphic - once you meet telepaths (natural or technological, it does not matter), or popout of the body, you can become "spiritual" (it may not mean much more than one understands, that usual accepeted senses are just once small band to excperience the world). The problem with Haramein is that he is part of the NWOcult. Through these ill intent spiri-ppl (99%) they mark and tag them othe spiri ppl. Maybe for removing them later, maybe for using as tools. Maybe getting their dna. etc. Once you get a close look how vile this world is, you may have to step back praising scientists. You know taht top "marketing scientists" are all occult? Very spiri. Very horny. I have a lot of information what do i see what is going on. Very sad info. Even you, are probably be in big mason club.
As even psysichist say time-space is doomed. (this is the next level where time looses its meaning.) Idk how it happens, does some next level spiri warn me or do just some horrible events ripple "back in time". In that way i can prevent them happening. Ususally at the last second.
If you´d know all the things i know, Id think youd say this place is a energy harvesting simulation ("3D") that uses souls as energy generators. Once someones soul wakes up (for reason or another) they are presented the next lie (that this place is a school, you yourself chose it). But prison it is. Some elite puppets get very mad if I tell about things. It´s their problem they tried to abuse me. Two k1llattempts for talking but they are weak. As you see i´m still talking.

Nassim has re-emerged and is grifting again. A friend forwarded me this.
“Those who follow my work have patiently awaited the release of my Unified Field Theory of Everything Paper with building anticipation. I've been absent from calls and interviews over the last year and for good reason.
    Thank you for your patience.
Many of you have reached out curious about my whereabouts, perhaps wondering why I've gone silent. Believe me, I have missed you and I have much to share. We are creating an engineering roadmap for technologies that precisely describe how to extract energy from the zero-point energy (ZPE) field.
It's been difficult to be away from you, and I've had to entrench myself in the quantum; drawing from it the mathematical equations for the fundamental mechanics of nature at the Planck scale.
In a podcast with Lewis Howes, I was asked, "How do you manifest in the quantum field? Our listeners want to know!"
My reply was, "In order to know how to manifest, you have to understand the mechanics of how the Universe works. How did it manifest itself?
My team of scientists and I have solved the mathematical equations that unify all forces, all scales, and all constants, taking the guesswork out of Einstein's field equations and bridging incomplete theories with precise analytical mathematical equations. To unravel the esoteric paradoxes of modern-day physics, we've had to rework and connect seemingly disconnected theories to find an analytical path to Maxwell, Einstein's, and Max Planck's theories, unlocking a puzzled framework that has plagued Quantum Physics and the Theory of Relativity for the last century.
Most physicists are baffled by the nature of the quantum field and do not understand that zero-point energy is fundamental to the mechanics of quantum physics. This nature of reality was discovered by Max Planck, the father of Quantum theory, yet modern physicists do not believe that we can pull energy from the vacuum.
Solving the Unified Field Theory of Everything is no small feat. What's even more challenging than solving mathematical equations is reverse engineering the perplexities of the standard model built on discontinuous theories and unexplained constants and free parameters.
It has not been easy to stay away from you all, but it has been necessary. As if unraveling the greatest mysteries of the Universe hasn't kept us occupied, we have orchestrated commensurate changes to our organizations in order to take these technological discoveries to the next level. Now is the time. I need your help and participation more than ever. It is time to change the world together and build a community that will launch humanity into the new world.
    Come and talk with me
I will host a call with my leadership team to share how we will bring these technologies into the world.
Hear our plans for building a new future for humanity.

I don’t feel this was actually a debunking. You noted some interesting points though chose to criticise his early papers rather than his recent work.
Also can intuition not play a factor when assumptions are made? Often with intuitives they receive information they know to be true even if they can’t fully explain it. To people who’re more left-brained this would appear to be making assumptions rather than receiving intuitive information by connecting with a deeper level of awarenes.
Harramein states himself that he didn’t choose conventional education, because he felt it would restrain him. I myself also chose not to go down that path as I felt mainstream education is very limited and lacks balance.
I’ve been following him for years and had not heard about his crystal products. They aren’t marketed on his FB page so if he was a conman, as you suggest, he’s not doing a particular good job at marketing his products.
I remember his debates with Bobathon and I think the main argument was that Bobathon was misunderstanding and failing to grasp what was being said.
I’ve seen some interesting debates on Reddit feeds with physicists and a physicist member of his team who was able to answer all criticism.
If he is a conman then I’d love to see you debunk his latest paper The Origin of Mass and The Nature of Gravity. If you’re indeed correct then it should be a fairly easy task for you.

Quantum University only has degreed programs in holistic medicine. Several prominent scientists and doctors are on the staff. If you want to say that Nassim is a scammer because of his association with this university, then please include Dr. Rupert Sheldrake, Dr. Bruce Lipton, Dr. Joe Dispenza, Dr. Amit Goswami, and all the other contributors and faculty members at the university. Holistic medicine is an alternative to medical practice. Anyone who doesn’t believe in holistic medicine will obviously lump it with anything that they think is pseudo science or even a scam. That’s your prerogative, but it doesn’t nullify it outright as a useful health practice, nor does it mean that the staff and instructors are any part of a scam. Hence, a scam is could be anything that you pay for and get nothing material in return to show for your money, like being a Patron to this or any UA-cam channel.

Unfortunately companies like Google, Meta, etc, care more about their profits and social media users are too sensitive about their dopamine drip being interrupted by a downvote so dislikes are probably going to disappear at some point. 😣 Which is great news for Nassim because that makes it more effective for him to spread his bullcrap.
