Love the beef bun and sweet soup you showed! My father brought me there when I was small and I still love them. Kowloon City does have a lot of good food and the area is great. Thai food is great there as a lot of Thai people live there.

Your chopstick skills are phenomenal! My girlfriend is also white and has great chopstick skills too, which I find kind of funny because a lot of Chinese people I know can't hold them properly!
My Wife and I thank you for making these lovely vlogs. We get a good laugh talking about food that you ate that she won't. A little background info. We are a mid 50s couple. She's Caucasian like yourself. HK style French toast is the only thing she enjoyed while we visited HK. Anyway, be careful and stay safe. Looking forward to more....

Hi I've been a big fan of ur vlogs (I haven't been back in hk for two years) and as a Hong Kong local here r a few places I think is pretty cool and that u shld visit if u hv the time:
- Rainbow estate: purely for aesthetics
- Chungking mansion: a cool subculture of hk (mainly south and southeast asians) and great food
- Temple street: big gate thing and red flag decorations + cheap stuff, porcelain, Chinese tea stuff, souvenirs (can be a bit sketchy)
- Lantau island/Big Buddha - me and my ex hiked up there during covid times so there was no one - felt like a mystically different time and place
- Tai O - cool food, fishermen village kinda looking place

The thing that struck me whilst in Hong Kong was how many turtles they have in their ponds! Hope you're enjoying the city! Do give the parks on Hong Kong Island a try! Hong Kong Park, Edward Youde Aviary and the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens!

If you still in Hong Kong when the temperature turn hot, Try the cold green bean seaweed sweet soup. It’s one of the most traditional cooling dessert from southern China. Yum😊

Should also go Sham Shui Po computer plazasss, we have nothing like that in UK.
You are more local than a local. Btw you should try 混醬腸粉（rice roll with sesame and sweet sauce) and sticky rice chicken for breakfast, they are some of the traditional local favourites. You could also try dessert in 佳佳甜品 and 糖水雄 at Jordan, I think both of them are good too.

u know youtubers set cams to record themselves walking away, come back to take the cam, edit away the "come back" part. It's a very easy and basic technique

Cool trip, so many extraordinary food and places i saw before in your video, your family speak russia lang... so i suppose you`r know russian lang and write before in comments in rus lang.
So i`m from Ukraine, and also i speak on 3 lang`s, rus, ukr and english, so if you preffer to use English, i would write on it, also i would be speak on Finnish lang, but i don`t know it ;)))

How did you find out about these restaurants? I have lived in HK for many years and don't know them b/c I rarely eat outside.
The best 甜品店 地茂甜品 in Hong Kong. My wife and I frequented this place many times back in 2000. It is amazing it is still so popular nowadays. Also the top storey of the Kowloon City Market - where you had your toast with beef fillings used to have a shop with the best 牛肉粥 and 腸粉 for breakfast back in 2000. Last time we came back in 2017 that shop was no longer there. 😂

Well done in trying out the different local food! Maybe try roast goose (as oppose to duck) from one of those well known roast meat place? For the glutinous rice roll, perhaps try the simpler version with just fried dough & sugar which I like better.

1) Garden Hill (嘉頓山 / 喃嘸山) @ Sham Shui Po
where can see the great skyline of Kowloon, better visit while sunset
2) Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens (香港動植物公園) @ Central
quite peaceful for chilling surrounded by animals, birds, plants
3) Lai Chi Kok Park (荔枝角公園) @ Mei Foo
Lingnan Garden (嶺南之風) inside this park has traditional Chinese style decoration (seems you like :)

i am craving for a good hk toast after watching this! 😅 do check out some of the documentaries and movies about the kowloon walled city which was nothing like the park you visited, a very unique piece of history in HK (both good and bad) if you are interested.
Those gardens looked so peaceful, especially in the early morning quietness. Interesting to see how many beautiful parks there are there. Another really interesting and calming video, thank you!

I was living in Kowloon walled city and spent my childhood there. That park brings me a lot of memories and miss Kowloon city as well especially the restaurants and cha chaan teng.
