Blue has always been my favorite color. First, as a girl, it was because of the color of my father’s eyes. As I grew other things were added in - the color of the deep sea, the Nile River, the blue ridge mountains, etc. Now another is added, bringing it full circle…the color of my son’s eyes, who is my father’s namesake 🥰 Everything is connected ☺️

I used to say red was my favorite color . . . And I do still like it. But I've noticed that when buying yarn, I'm always drawn to colors that remind me of the ocean. Any blues, teals, turquoises, even greens. If it makes me think of the ocean, it makes me happy 🩵🌊

Purple has always been a color I am fond of because it is such a royal color and it seems calming to me. It pairs beautifully with fiber arts projects, since I find repetetive motion so calming too.
I love a beautiful Champaign Pink and pale yellow combination. Together or separate those colors are very calming to me.

From my hair to my favorite yarns, pink is always my choice. Pink is more than a color to me. I wear pink to honor my mother; my is , of course my beloved momma, my hero, my mentor, my everything. My mother is a two time breast cancer survivor and I wear pink to honor her because she’s the strongest woman I know! My favorite color is purple. As far as I can remember, it always has been. I love every shade of it, from the soft pastels of spring and bright shades of summer, to the comfy dark fall hues and gorgeous jewel tones of winter celebrations. I've yet to see a purple I didn't love. I shared this love with my aunt (my favorite aunt), who passed away this last October. She say, "Purple is the color of royalty, and aren't we all daughters of our Heavenly Father?" Now, she's on my mind whenever I see purple, and it's now a perfect reminder of her and her love. 💜

I have a few favorite colors. Blue, Maroon, and Green are the colors. Blue reminds me of the sky and the the color of the lake where I grew up. Green represents the color of spring and grow. In my studio apartment I have pumpkin orange French doors, a plum colored bathroom door, that opens into my teal and pink and orange bathroom, a grey and lime kitchen, and the palest golden sunshine yellow walls throughout. I love so many colors but blue is my favorite. Its always represented calmness and serenity to me, between oceans and rivers, the sound of water is soothing and brings back memories of camping on the beach with my grandparents or camping in general with my parents growing up. Now that all my grandparents are gone and my dad, those memories are all the more important.

Those puff stitches add a lovely new twist this classic stitch pattern. My favorite color is blue, although pretty much everything else runs a very close second. It reminds me of all the pretty wild flowers that bloom on the side of the road. I live in a town that has slopey hills everywhere. Nothing is truly flat.

Yellow is my favorite color. When I was a kid, we were given the assignment to describe our favorite color. At the time, I didn't really have a favorite color, so I asked my mom for help. Her favorite color is also yellow. She said she likes yellow because it is the color of the sun, which is what feeds all life. So, my description of what yellow smells like was something like, the smell of dandelions, the smell of sunflowers. The smell just before it rains. The smell of a fresh morning as the sun rises, and just before it sets. The smell of nature. The smell of fresh lemons. All of these smells combined make the smell of happiness.
