I have been to SSGA for an east zone tournament was hosted at Udaygiri the home of the champs of X-Country, and the 1st teacher talking to the media team is Sir Pradip Adhikary,he used to initially teach at SSPN and was my housemaster too, he hasnt changed one bit, very smart still looks the same, the best english teacher I have encountered in my life, exceptional in his subject of expertise. Proud of my Alma Mater Sainik School Goalpara (SSG). Spent Seven years of my life from year 2008 to 2015, in this heavenly beautiful green campus. Nostalgic and flooded with so much of memories especially seeing my young friends in Yellow T-shirt (Lachit House). It was a dream come true moment to enter through School's main gate (now Rhino Gate) on 06th June, 2008 to get admission into this prestigious school. Have had the amazing opportunity to celebrate Golden Jubilee of our School in year 2014 as School's Senior most Class 12th Batch Cadet (preferably called Golden Jubilee pass out Batch). Greeting to entire School's beloved teachers, Cadets and everyone associated with SSG on this Diamond Jubilee occasion. Long live SSG. Hope to be there soon.
Today I feel proud to be an alumnus of SSG. The institution presented me a new introduction Author BORN TO DO BIG and lot many . SSG has electrified in me to do big and live immortal doing positive with an example that everyone like to embrace and live like great.

Not one of the best school.my nephew join class nine in this school.in senior hostel they force for drinks wine forse for junior cadet. I complain lots of but no response the school management.plz avoid the school.

If you apply for armed forces then it definitely gives you an edge but for other jobs it's almost as same as other schools just that it makes you more disciplined in life and that contributes significantly towards your overall character development. But, this school is no joke and I have had many friends who dropped out of this school due to the tough curriculum, so you must be able to adapt to their strict curriculum.

@@Loveyounature482 I don't know about the present fees, but earlier it was not that much for the facilities they provide. You can get their fees structure on the internet I guess or you can call the administration and ask them.
Dear Mrinal, only advantage Sainik school aitu jea you will be little bit familiar with military environment.but Mark My word saitu aku imp nohoi , bahiror pora koribo pari NDA r preparation. Moreover tat Class 11-12 korilea, you will be far away from IIT JEE or NEET. (Kisuman korea but mostly failed). So it bahiror pora preparation kora tat join kora eman imp nohoi. About myself Moi 2009-14 batch asilu IIT BHU alumnus Atia PHd Scholar, Defence Research Development Organisation.
