There will be plenty on ebay, make sure the diameter of your original tyre is within 3% of the spacesaver tyre. Obviously get the correct pcd for the wheel nuts/bolts and the centre bore too.
I can tell you my mpg. Its far more economical in town's and the countryside than on a 70mph dual carriageway. I live in a little village, first thing I do, into D mode then pull it back again into B mode. Select Eco then switch the Blue epower on, it chargers the batteries up a lot faster this way. Its amazing how many times the engine stops and runs on battery only. You can have this constantly displayed on the dash screen, I personally have mpg displayed but it's only 1 arrow switch to have a different display. So, mpg, I reset the mpg and left the centre of the city and drove home, 7 miles, had lunch then drove out to a place called Haddo House, it's all country roads, it averaged 54.3mpg over the 18 mile journey. I then used a dual carriageway to return home, the mpg dropped to 46mpg. I've only done mixed runs since then, country and dual carriageways, its staying at 46mpg , that's because it hardly uses the brakes to regenerate the batteries when on straughter faster roads. So countryside, and not fast runs I get around 54 mpg, mixed runs fast and slow around 46mpg. Hope this is useful.
Many thanks, very useful - on my test drives I used eco mode but not b mode too, and seemed to get 39mpg on the motorway (steady 70 using cruise control) but over 50mpg tootling around on the country lanes. Note, i have the opposite of a heavy right foot...
@HughRapson Hi, yes,sorry I called it Epower but I mean Epedal. As soon as I set off I put the pedal ( Blue switch) on. Apart from regenerating the battery faster and only using the gas pedal to speed up and slow down the brake pads and discs will last far longer than normal . So I start up, pull gear selector back twice so B shows, pull the little rocker switch back to Eco mode and switch on Epower/Pedal, I leave them all on in the City and the countryside.
It's simple, out with the two boards. Undo the finger tight nut in the centre of the Subwoofer, move the Subwoofer to the left side, then my frame just lifts out, undo the plastic nut holding the wheel down and lift the wheel out. Takes less than 1 minute.
