Great to see you shearing! Always a treat. You should open a barber shop in your spare time; you'd make a fortune charging per head for "short back and sides"! 😊 I'll be praying for you as you have your operation this week. Thankfully, you have Lizzy, your mom and your team around for support. Take care and obey the doctor's orders.❤
Cammie here’s a👏🏻👏🏻for a thorough and professional job. You sure know your way round a lady . (Sheep). That is. All the gentle parts are well taken care of. “ I’d rather cut my finger than cut a sheep. “ you rock. From Canada.
I love watching you shearing Cammie, you are one of the best. You’re gentle with the sheep, and you don’t pull them around by the wool like 98% of the other people do at The Shearing School. I wouldn’t allow any of them touch my flock.
I really appreciate that you show us different breeds being sheared. I would have never known these were Dorsets as the ones where I live look so different. Thanks.
When I was in 4-H, I watched a small Dorset ewe get loose from her (fairly young) handler, and decided she was going to leave the show ring. She also decided that the six foot grown man blocking the gate wasn't gonna stop her, either. She jumped up, hit him at chest level, and kept right on going. He wasn't hurt (badly, anyway), but he sure was surprised!
Cammy, I have two questions, well I guess three because the first one is two questions in one… 1) how many sheep can you shear on one battery charge or how much time does the battery last on one charge? 2) What causes the green hue to the wool as seen at timestamp 5:53, is it just the camera and lighting or is there actually something causing the wool to be green?
Love watching you shear! Always look forward to your videos. Love your accent too. 😊 But I did notice something when I was watching this morning, 😲now I don’t want to come across as criticizing 😂but once you started your shears it was hard to hear what you said. Is it possible when you use them that you could turn up your microphone? If I turn up my sound it doesn’t help because the shears just get louder. 😵💫
SUGGESTIONS: 1) Weigh them before and after as well as the sheared-off wool. It would be fun to know it. 2) When you do a second or more sheep that you won't be giving commentary on, show you shearing them using time lapse photography. 3) If you shear contestant show sheep differently than just regular sheep (slower, more precise, closer cut [or less close], second/third passes, etc.), tell us as you do them. Maybe even do a separate video on this. You could show side by side shearing (in time lapse would be fine) of the two types.
Hey Cammy, you should come to Canada and shear one of Lynn's & Arnie from Ewetopia Farms Dorset's(or Suffolk's) they are a just a "tiny" bit bigger, lol.
@@lanieleigh9970 Oh, what a pity, that's boring. I had already imagined that it could be medieval city fortifications like in Carcassonne (because they're lined up in a row) or ancient residential towers like in Sienna and the surrounding area... but thank you.
Hi Cammy, how long have you been shearing sheep? You make it look easy but it's not. During the pandemic I tried to trim my dogs hair and after the second cut of her skin I stopped.
Aww their cute little faces. So gorgeous under all that wool.😍👏🐑
Flora is one wooly armful. You managed to keep her calm. 😊👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Well done, Cammy! 👍 My Polled Dorset is a back breaker! 😮 But they have a gentle personality, as she's a pet.
I enjoy watching you sheer. You never leave the sheep a bloody mess. So great to watch.

Loved Flora and Daisy. Well done! I also loved the ears on the sheep in the flock at the beginning. I know why they call them mules.
Loved this video. You're so gentle with the shearing of the sheep❤❤❤

First class work Cammy, with a really good and interesting commentary. Just what we've come to expect from you, a wonderful professional.
Just found your site today. Wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the care and consideration you give to the animals. I'm in Oklahoma
Excellent video Cammy, it really showed what's involved, at a speed speed that shows the technique. You can see that she's enjoying your calm. 🐑
Lovely job Cammy.
Hi Cammy Great to see you again. I was glad to see you help that girl get to see batter. LOL I could not see her eyes at all. LOL She looks great.
What good girl the 🐑 is
Love watching you shear Cammy, we me the first day in Escanaba, I’m From Ontario, you and your friends were so personable and jovial
Nice work Cammy 💪👌
I was sitting here wondering how many sheep I’ve seen you shear over the last 3-4 years? Many, many! That’s a beautiful fleece.
These videos are so satisfying I can't turn away.

No one expects the sheep to BOUNCE!....🤣
Love dorset's ... woolly legs and woolly cheeks ... they're a beautiful breed
Awesome job Cammi. You make it look easy. Hugs from Nebraska U.S.A.

I really like the 1 & 3 suggestions! Would be great extra information to know
Polled dorsets in the USA don’t have wool on their faces. Flora seemed to be loving the salon treatment!
Well done 🐑🐑

"Ewetopia"...love it! If I had sheep, I'd try to steal that somehow...😂
@@cindyrissal3628 they are a lovely couple, if you're bored I suggest giving some of their videos a watch.
You certainly did a better job than a certain Mr Fearnley-Whittingstall a few years back!
0:15 (Off topic) what are these 12 towers in the background?
Following, because now I'm curious as well :D
They are high rise apartment buildings.

Wonderful video. How often do they get sheared?
Just once a year, but maybe an extra trim for the shows!
Facet ładnie i dokładnie owce ostrzygł. Mi film na you tube się podobał.
Вот это овечка!!! Гигант!
Je vous regarde de France votre laine est très belle nous elle est très sale ,bon courage

Do the owners wash the sheep before showing them?
Hi Bro good to watch you :) which brand is your shearing machine?
Think they are the ShearCordless ones!
My fingers are itching to spin....!!
How many batteries did you go through this day?
Just the one...if i remember to charge it! 👍
Good girls 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑
Did She win anything this season?
Must check that! 👍
Does your parting comment, “She’s virtually in show condition as it is” translate as she’s just a little bit heavy? :-)
Wait are there bunny sheep?
Sophia Conan
I have to admit I was quite surprised the first time I touched a sheep. I never expected the grease.
Arapa Mak ecokor bang😂

Dorsets look as bad to shear as Baby Dolls
