And Clem cementing his new position as Terran's lord and savior against Dark right afterward; he went 7-2 against the two best Zerg in the world, back-to-back, dropping only one game to each of them. And at a time when they are both looking rather strong, too (IMHO this was the strongest Serral has looked since 2018--his infamous premature tap out at IEM Katowicz this spring seems to have lit a fire under his ass). Maru has definitely been in a bit of a slump lately as well; he even lost to Protoss in this tournament! All hail LiquidClem!

I’m a casual SC2 fan who doesn’t play, so grain of salt. But I have an idea that won’t let me go. Would it be OP if ultralisks weren’t stopped by the hit box of smaller units? They seem so clunky as-is even with top-level players.

blizzard now needs to update your announcer pack so that it has you do the sounds for orbital command scans
I’m surprised dark didn’t lean into spellcasters more and never once went hydras or lurkers, especially when all the mines came out

I don't get why in TvZ Raven is quite rare to see since it's perfect for the creep removal teams 🤔
Ravens are slow, and thus vulnerable in bio ball armies.
Pretty important in high level Terran play. At least live might get a shot off for two and pay for themselves.
Marine with medivac control group kinda clunky to control with raven in the control group, at least that what i heard
I never understood why I'm only now seeing a zerg employ corruptors against Terran to punish medivacs! Dark had like 5-8 of them out at any given time and used them to prioritze medivacs and it's so refreshing to see!
@@Dallows65 It's always been a Dark thing, I believe. He did pioneer Corruptor Ling Bane.
@@Dallows65i think is a tech thing, they usually build corruptors after the lib/tank force became pretty big in late game so they can counter libs while teching into broodlords, in mid game they prefer hydras as antiair probably because they give you the possibility to go into lurkers wich are pretty good before ghosts, also if you used roach ravagers you probably already have +1 range and carapace so they already have upgrades while corruptors doesn't have them

The caduceus reactor is not new at all, at least, not in the Starcraft Universe. It was a old upgrade for the medics back in Brood War (1998), that increased their base and starting energy. It's present, as well, in HotS being a trait of Rosa Morales... but we know what you meant :D

You get tunnel vision on your build as a Terran thinking you're making headway. We can't slow down mass production for like 2 or 3 ravens lol. They're also expensive liabiliities...but I always try to build a couple...they're game changers if you protect them. You build a bunch of them and they can actually turn the tide.

You could say game of the year here, but Clem vs Serral was a close 2nd series
I persoanlly believe Clem vs Serral felt like the actual grand finals. The games felt slightly higher level
Clem clearly carried the momentum from that set, he just played amazingly
I don’t really what statecraft e Sport that much but everytime i do i think dark is fun to watch like I have no idea what’s going on but he does stuff that is entertaining (for example his proxy bases right infront of the enemy base)
Game 3:
Perfect example of how insanely OP T are.
Clem wasn't in the game for 90% of it, Dark had the map control, the resources, the units.... yet T, completely unbreakable without INSANE losses.
Neither Protoss nor Zerg can do anything like that. As Z you need at least twice, if not thrice the amount of resources, units and power to get a win against T these days.

I'm not saying nerf them to hell and back, but a simple slowdown (even 15%) on recharging and maybe 5 less HP would really help. It's just a bit too strong for harassment.

You see for the European viewership, serral is from a dry rub state, and clem is from a wet sauce state and that sort of animosity bleeds into all aspects of the southern american lifestyle

Unless pretty much all of the top tier Terrans start using Ravens at the same time, nothing will change. They hate having mobile vision.
