How to sew edge lace to a knitted blanket. Knitting tutorial. 🪡🧶🪡🧶

🪡🧶In this tutorial I show you how to sew a lace to the edge of a knitted blanket.
🪡🧶While we can often take the stitches directly from the blanket, there are laces that are knitted separately and then sewn to the edge of the blanket.
🪡🧶It is important to have left the blanket at rest, so that the stitches settle, or block it, just like the border lace.
🪡🧶We then proceed to lay it out on a flat surface and secure it with some pins or stitch markers, to evenly distribute the motifs on it. It is also important to distribute the corners well, so that they are not puckered or visually uneven.
🪡🧶 Then weproceed to sew the way I show in the video.
