I cannot get to the show. Now I can ,thank you.
Deep gratitude. Regards Gareth Wiltshire.
The side car on the interceptor 650 looks awesome👌👌 ......I own an interceptor 650 silver spectre too...and ofcourse the CCM spitfire looks beautiful
Same as Hagrid's - costs more than the single cylinder Enfield in Thailand!
That side car is drop dead gorgeous!
You are a proper journalist Stuart, one of the best.
I went there today with my son, it seems smaller than last year, I had a word with one of the staff on the Honda stand and he told me they was about a third smaller than last year. I’d also like to comment on CCM, extremely well made and expensive bikes, you can’t fault the build quality but I wish they had more engine options, it seems there’s a one size fits all and I think they could do better in that respect.
Fave bike for me was the triumph scrambler 1200. Nice video stuart keep it up mate 👍🙏🏻
Great video as always Stuart. Myself and my wife's nephews will be attending the show on It's last sunday. (As Always). Keep up the great info video's
Had hopes of visiting this year but not to be. Never seen such a large range of bikes, long may it continue! Thanks for this. 👍
Ps. Hope to visit Excel London in Feb. 2020
Great video Stuart and some really mouth watering machines on offer, can’t wait for the next 2 videos 😃👍🏻
Oooohh my god...that interceptor with sidecar. I wonder how much that side car must cost. Can't wait for the royal enfield review. Thank you for sharing
Nice bike's very nice video. All the best.
Ah ha press pass eh, very posh Stuart, hope you were given a free burger! Will there with my mate on Thursday; albeit Triumph owners the RE stand is no.1 on our list...
Your videos are cool👌👌👌🥂
I agree about the Harley. I think it looks great in a serious tanky sort of a way.
Nice vid Stuart I’ll be at the model Railway show this weekend coming ...hoping to pop into the bike show ..... looking forward to the other bike show vids .....regards fred
My two loves: bikes & trains. 🏍🚂
Great snap-shot of the Motorcycle live event - thank you. Like many others commenting here, I too enjoyed a look at the Watsonian side car on the Royal Enfield. The sidecar on my T-120 Black is a Cozy, maybe a Watsonian Squire is in the future.
Was Norton not there? If you get a chance to ask, would be interested to know CCM's ploy for the future because everything they do is a limited run at the moment in an effort to bypass regulation forced by mass production yet they seem to be very quickly running out of genre. The Spitfire is not available anymore nor is the Caf'e racer I don't think. Nice coverage though, so thanks...
That moment when you consider dropping into Birmingham just for the bikes....
Good to see "Benelli" again. Would like also to see a Moto Morini. Someone must own the brand. A modern version of the 3½ would be so cool.
Nice film Stuart....I can't get away this year so it was interesting for me! Cheers, Steve
Great intro to the show. No sign of the promised CCM Adventure 600, unless that is in a later video. Looking forward to seeing the next instalment.
How very kind of them to let you loose. Sounds like you enjoyed it 😀
Good Heads Up Stuart cheers - that Benelli Imperiale looks interesting, would make an interesting comparison with your RE.Herald always have a good display, the 500 Brute was on show last year, another nice looking bike but @ around £6k I'm not sure.CCM put on a good show too, have seen a few of their bikes out this year so customers are finally taking deliveries.Weather permitting i'll be up there Saturday for a good look around.
Excellent presentation Stuart and a nice glimpse of what I can expect next Friday, the earliest time I can go. I understand the Watsonian chair attached to the Interceptor is more than the bike itself? Maybe they should licence it and get it made at RE in India too.
I went . I wanted to sit in one of the watsonian side cars, but they didn't seem to be allowing that.
Sat on a Triumph Rocket 3. Yeah I know they're silly, but if I won the lottery, I'd have one :)
Very fine presentation... many thanks for that! Unfortunately CCM is not present here in Austria.
Sir please please please please make a video on RE SIDECAR 5:40
Will be going on the last day can’t wait
Once again we won't be attending the NEC bike show. Four of us sharing a car costs £112 just to go in ! WTF !!!!
Like the emergence of local craft beer, I wonder if we’ll see a proliferation of local “bespoke” bike manufacturers? Also, while I know I’d be able to Google it, it would be interesting to hear your description and assessment of the Birmingham show itself.
Would seriously consider RE with sidecar for me and my bulldog Riley .
Arguably Britain's Biggest motorcycle show ....who's arguing Stuart! That sidecar outfit looked class.
Lovely ' taster' video. Really looking forward to the RE special.
Didn't think there would be much of interest for me at the NEC this year, having seen this video i think i was wrong.
Good video! Loving the CCM stuff which I saw at the 2018 Scottish Show and looked very high quality. I also was a bit taken with the Herald bikes, very nice. In fact all looked good but, as you say, I might reserve judgement on the Harley till I actually see one. The more I see the more I'm liking the retro style, am I getting old? 😉
I swapped my Bonnie for a Herald 400 Classic. Totally love this bike, so capable & sounds so good.
The side car is amazing 😲
I believe the Fantic is built in Italy with a Chinese engine & box although it’s sourced from the same company that manufactures engines for Suzuki.
Is it as much fun to visit the show when it you are working? Excellent video, as always.
It was a bit stressful actually!
Was there a flat track concept from RE Stuart?! What are your thoughts on a flat tracker sir?!
loved the look of the benelli might need to investigate that a bit further love the music too good choice Oh professional Reporter person
Cheers Stuart.
Hi. I was there today. Sorry I missed you as it would have been good to chat. Keep up the great channel.
Nicely done Stuart. Did the new Street Triple RS get lots of looks? Any thoughts of testing that, would make a great review and something different on the channel?
Gutted I can't make it. I'd love to have a go on a fantic 500 cafe racer. I had a go on a Mash 650 which is in a similar vein. The problem with Chinese engined bikes is their depreciation is substantial. This means that a £5000 bike on pcp costs more than a £7000 when paying installments! 😕
Howdy Stuart I was there yesterday you’re spot on about the Harley pan American it looks much better in the flesh than in pics. What did you think of the rocket 111. Or are you reserving judgement for your next vid
Great video as you look at the sort of stuff I'm interested in (so it saves me going!) Not surprised the so called new Triumph models are not attracting much attention. A new paint job and a few shiny bits do not make for a new and exciting bike. Kind of getting a bit cynical Triumph in my opinion. If Fantic are back how about a new Fantic Chopper? Now that would be a thing.
Nice video short, horrendous music, lol. The CCM’s are beautiful would love to own a spitfire, not US bound though. The Fanatics and those scramblers are worthy of more attention, have watched a few other videos on those.
Request to Stuart. Could you get the loan of a 650 Interceptor with the Rocket sidecar for a review?
Thanks, Ronn
That Benelli 400!
What do you think about Jawa? Please Let us know
B/S Tiger towards the end of the vid had a bucket of mud thrown at it - where's the clean bit where the rider sat ??
Did think that myself.
Will you be reviewing the moto guzzi v7. Got to be compared with the Enfield ie new interceptor or used v7 for same money... That's my predicament
No predicament.. id take the interceptor over the guzzi even if they were the same money new
That side car on the Enfield at 5:38 s gorgeous, you can park that in my driveway any time you like! I can't quite make out the maker's name on the side, can you share that?
Watsonian, one of the old manufacturers
@@stuartfillingham Uh oh, they have a US distributor, this could become interesting. And expensive :) Thanks & Cheers!
Are you kidding me? I'd take the Benelli Imperiale any day of the week!!😍 I also like the orange Royal Enfield with sidecar, quite sharp. Personally, I'd like to see H-D go down the loo (toilet, shitter, whatever ya wanna call it).😁😈 Really want a Royal Enfield Bullet Trials!!!
I've never been a Harley fan, but I'd hate to see them go down the drain and people lose their jobs.
@@azul8811 well, when you put it that way, you're right.
Too much retro stuff going on now but they are all pretty bikes. Fantic off roader for me.
I dont like the word retro! that means to go backwards! this is a modern classic channel so really that all i deal with. there were plenty of tupperware clad pocket rockets at the show if thats your thing!
stuart fillingham but they are retro bikes, or modern takes on classic designs. Modern bikes might become classics in years to come. My Guzzi 1000S is thought to be one of the first retro bikes, a modern bike (at the time) looking back at past glories with styling to match. Retro isn’t a dirty word!
I never said it was a dirty word. just expressing an opinion that its just incorrectly applied in this context. The expression modern classic is used by many manufacturers to describe a modern bike which is classically styled on and older model. A generally accepted term!
I'm the first viewer 👍👍
