Why do they ALWAYS have to do a modern looking kitchen? It's always so disappointing, even when they get everything else right. Even the furniture and the art is right in this house, and they were so close. The cabinets in the kitchen are fine, but the backsplash was wrong, and the pot rack and the stools and the lighting and the wallpaper in the kitchen were all horribly wrong.
The problem is that no one who buys a house than expensive actually wants a period accurate kitchen. Kitchens used to be seen as ugly but necessary utility rooms, kind of like how we see laundry rooms today. Because of this, a period accurate kitchen would be tiny, undecorated, and usually in the basement.
@@jimbo1637 I've seen plenty of beautiful old kitchens with fabulous wooden joinery, vintage subway tiles, old AGA stoves, enamel kitchen tables and beautiful enamelled cast iron sinks. To many of us, they are far more beautiful and long lasting than the modern bland kitchens.
What makes it hard is everyone has their own tastes and likes/dislikes. I’ve gone into some homes where on the outside it looks like it’s going to be incredible inside, and as soon as I get in to shoot it looks nothing like what I expected.
Very English country manor and decor in OH, very lovely 😊
Wow. So close to me. I wouldn’t change a thing. Beautiful home!!
Pretty. I love Ohio ❤
This home is lovely and I would ask to keep the subway panel. It’s a touch of home for me.

Totally agree 100%!

Excellent, but too much space for my taste.
Sold 10 days ago, why show it now?
I had it private for the agent to use, just decided to make it public
Got it.@@DKCreative
How much?
It sold
At least the exterior is pretty
It’s an older historic house. Doesn’t have your typical cookie cutter interior like most homes.
Like only the exterior …. Not a fan of interest decor
