Creature Commandos (an animated Suicide Squad essentially) feels like a thing they were probably working with James Gunn on before they decided to give him the keys to the kingdom.
They mentioned doing The Boys ages ago, and a couple of them have talked a little about it as it was dropping, but I feel like Tim didn't find it important enough to make happen. Haven't heard any of them mention Acolyte.

I think CC “starting” the DCU wasn’t about “this show is gonna blow the doors off” and more so the studio wanting content out there since the Superman movie won’t be out until 2025.
This family brought a 6 and 8 year old to DP3 yesterday, huge group, asked us to move, nah, during the R rated Aliens trailer I mused "Well that looks like a fun family film"
We had a young couple sitting next to us that brought their baby. Their BABY. As in still in a bassinet. You can imagine what the outcome was. And they had the audacity to shoot us looks when we got annoyed when it got to the point that the poor thing wouldn’t stay quiet anymore. I sympathize with their situation, I really do. Baby sitting is expensive and only getting more so. But you have to know better than to bring them to a theater for an adult movie. That’s one thing that will never end well.
@@cocacola150dr Completely selfish of them using the baby as an excuse. I've seen mothers go stand to the side of a theater at the entrance ready to leave if the little one got rowdy but to sit down and think your baby would sleep through a DP movie is nuts.
Joey saying "Grimm" like that bothers me, show is super underrated. Also if you're gonna look at him sideways for not watching Supernatural you can't be acting like that lol
Because of these split season shenanigans of the previous season of Invincible, I will not start watching the next season until it's confirmed that the back half of the season has started airing.
Creature Commandos is something James Gunn was working on before he became president of DC Studios. Pretty sure he said as much when they announced the DCU slate. Something he was working on that they worked to fit the DCU and it’s only coming out before Superman because it’s ready. Superman is still the true “starting point”. This is just something to grow the universe a bit but it’s not gonna be a huge part of the universe.
One thing I gotta say about the Transformers One "it's for kid" thing. There's a movie targeting kids, and then theres "minions-ing" a thing. Trailer 1 for the movie felt very minions trailer 2 is much closer to a normal family movie

No production on any DCU projects are starting until the script is finished. One of James Gunn's main points when agreeing to the job. We know who the director is but there's really nothing else to announce until official casting is underway and a start date for filming is finalized.

I do love The Boys, I think it’s great, but I absolutely am a grouch on all of these spin offs. I could not get into Gen V at all personally, and the prequel spin off and now a show taking place in Mexico? Man, I feel like it’s all too much. But that’s just me, I’ll definitely finish the series but yeah I do not get the hype for so much more. I really wish they kept it as just the main show and called it a day.

I fucking hate how much they beg for "appointment viewing" I understand that they think weekly releases are better for shows but I always feel especially these days if I miss an episode of a show like that I have to avoid all media to avoid spoilers, you guys pine for the old appointment viewing days of G.O.T. but back then people still had enough respect to not post any spoilers, now days you got people mid episode spoiling things.

If you don’t have time to catch 1 episode and you’re worried about spoilers, how about you don’t have time to binge all 8-12 episodes and people are definitely posting spoilers. For spoilers, best to have it week to week. For conversations, popularity, ratings?, Week to week wins.
Hard disagree. Not everyone has the time to devote to binging a season of tv. I'd much rather take my time and enjoy a show at my own pace instead of feeling pressured to watch as soon as possible. It's much easier to avoid single episode spoilers for a couple of days as opposed to full sason spoilers for a couple of weeks (which is how long it typically takes me to finish a season)

In my showing Friday night there were at least 5 boys no older than 11. This movie perhaps should have been NC-17
