I only just now saw the wristband/cuff (made from this design) you posted on IG - great idea!

I am making a headband using this pattern in black thread to wear to a formal event. I am using size 10 crochet cotton and a 1.75 mm hook and I have learned that when using crochet thread rather than yarn it can be difficult to pinch the thread for the floating ring without having the ring wind up very large and looking sloppy. So I have been using a stitch marker to secure the loops for the floating ring and it is much easier to work. Thanks as always for sharing your beautiful patterns. Now that’s I have used the breakaway method other motif patterns pale in comparison. ❤

Oh I would love to see your headband when you finish it! Great hack to use stitch markers, I do that sometimes too 😉

So if I want to continue in length, would I just start back at the foundation row?

To make it longer, add more noughts and hearts on the first foundation row.

Oh I see, you could start back at the foundation row but I suggest starting with a heart instead of a nought. Also the joining points will be different. It’s a long explanation to go through so I encourage you to experiment. If you join my breakaway support and chat group it would be an interesting thread ☺️ facebook.com/groups/521897148774830/
