When I was a little girl we had a collection box that resembled our church building . On our birthday we would come up and put a penny for every year of our life and the congregation would sang happy birthday then we would receive a pencil or book marker.
You guys are doing a great job as always. I love watching you. This is the 70 three-year-old soon. To be 74. Great grandma keep up the good work god's love watching you
I did lashes for way too many years. damaged my real lashes. so I now teach other beautiful warriors how to do it cheap n non toxic or harmful. this is not a gimmick. I owe u n zeb n my fav ray of light fam u all have given me so much
I’ll say this again. You guys are fearless. I see those lamps all the time but I’ve never had the vision to make them anything other than ugly. And there you go, you do it with ease. Love.❤️
Everything looks great, the lamps are my absolute favorite. When you said you were adding gold I was like, Nooo! But it’s so subtle and luscious I can’t see it any other way now.
Another Fantastic creation! Another Fantastic video! I am happy I get to learn from talented creators like you. I am a better video creator because of it. All my support!
Are you two planning on a classroom in the church when you open it? I think folks would love a lesson on these processes and it would help move product too!
We are going to have classroom space. I actually get really nervous with in person classes so we’ll see how many we do lol. I just definitely wanted a space for guest teachers to come. ❤️
Wow, wow, wow! So many amazing transformations on this video! Lamps, collection box, frames and that little bird chest of drawers? Gorgeous and inspiring! Thank you!
First, You both are Amazing, Second, I absolutely love how you are transparent on the price and resale of each piece. I’ve learned so much watching you guys over the years. Thank you 💕
When Zeb had u buy those lamps out thrifting I was thinking "why???!" 😂 And look how you transformed them.. kinda amazing you guys! Love all the Gustavian finishes lately! Incredible job!! I keep hoping I'll absorb some of your talents lol!
These all are beautiful. The lamp shades look so much better. Zeb amazes me when he stencil. He never tape it down and that bake stencil was bouncing everywhere!! I would have had a hot mess!! Thanks Jami and Zeb
Firstly, thankyoufor making the frame french country::)) lots of effort and work went into it::)) I love your color combos youve been acheiving w/my new fav Gustavian style! The 1917 touch was really spot on too...Thankyou Zeb and Jami..
Such a pretty painting to find at a thrift store- and painting the frame just took it to the next level! The lamps turned out beautiful. Thanks for the tutorial!!
Actually fabric won’t dry crunchy if you mix fabric softener into your paint. If you visit salvaged by K Scott on you tube she recently did a chair with this method. She mentions the mix ratio. Her name is Katie.
Oh man! I love Gustavian so much! I’m so glad you did my 3 hanger coat rack that way. Bluebird is my new favorite color! I’m normally not a Propel color person. But rather than conceding that okay sometimes we need a neutral, it looks gorgeous with this style. I’m looking forward to receiving it! With this move, I’ve hired “honey-do” help. On Whidbey Island, my house just never got done because with my daughter and son-in-law so darned bust, we never had time to get it done. I’m so excited because they’re going to help me install earthquake proof shelves (above a couch) and also hang all the hanging stuff I have, from these hangars, to artwork, to my 3 cedar bark woven Native hats. This will be the first time I’ve actually made my home a home - FINISHED - rather than having it all in boxes for “someday.” And ordering from you has created a more cozy feeling to those things.
Love your channel. I love everything I have ever bought from you. I have noticed that you don't clean anything before you paint "most of the time" I think using the DIY paint. Is that normal? When you do the big furniture I usually see you washing the items down. But not on the smalls.
They get a quick swipe before we start sometimes we don’t see the price stags Though. If they are super dirty we scrub more. Anything that’s been in a kitchen with grease and dust gets a big scrub. We just don’t film it.
Try some antique glaze. Use a small artist brush and paint in the cracks then wipe back. I haven’t used latex in foreve but I bet that would work great
The little dresser would look so much better if the the hardware / nobs weren't painted the same as the rest of the piece! The keyholes etc. are just diminished. 😒😔

Oh how fun. I bet it was a collection box.
We did same thing at my grandma's church...

I love the blue bird milk paint with the golden ticket. Very French country.
Those lamps are MONEY!😍
We are ready for spring up here in the PNW, Washington State specifically. However, pray for more snow in the mountains 🏔!

Got to say that I would never have picked up those lamps, but after you worked you magic...Gorgeous!!!
I’ll say this again. You guys are fearless. I see those lamps all the time but I’ve never had the vision to make them anything other than ugly. And there you go, you do it with ease. Love.❤️

Wow you guys. You did a ton of informative techniques. I have watched you for a long time but still I learned something new from you!
Everything looks great, the lamps are my absolute favorite. When you said you were adding gold I was like, Nooo! But it’s so subtle and luscious I can’t see it any other way now.
I love seeing what you guys do with smalls! I'm really enjoying these colors you've been using lately, too.

I use equal parts paint and baking soda to get this salt wash effect. Works great.
I have seen crackle done with hair spray and white school glue. Now I know a third way. Thank you!

Such a pretty painting to find at a thrift store- and painting the frame just took it to the next level! The lamps turned out beautiful. Thanks for the tutorial!!
Those lamps turned out very pretty. All the things are really great! As per usual!💕
I love you guys! You work so hard and inspire me, and not just with your painting thrifting, and upcycling.
I love how all the thrifting treasures turn out, really pretty finishes on everything
Love this
Loved the planter. The Patina you achieved was spot on. 👏🏻✨
I think this is good!

The decoupage is gorgeous! Good going Zeb.

Love all of these ideas today 💕 what’s the color Zeb used for the moss look on the urn-pot
I think it was aviary, but maybe gypsy green I can’t remember they are super close either would work.
It’s Gypsies green from DIY
Thank you ☺️
Zeb, which Iod mold did you use on this frame? Thank you 🙏

Everything usually gets a good wipe down, we just don’t show it on camera a lot because it’s not very exciting
its so easy. less than 15 minutes once u get the hang of it. n last 3-7 days depending on how u shower. lol
👍😊
👍🌹❤️
Unfortunately ,live in Canada ,,,so can't get your paints ,in this video what are the colours , maybe can find in Canada
Hello. What’s the name of the iod mould ? Thanks
Classic Elements. Here is the link jamirayvintage.com/products/preorder-classic-elements-decor-mold-iod?ToPasteboard
How can I get an antique look on my newly painted latex finish cabinets. I hate the way they came out and I want them to look old.
Try some antique glaze. Use a small artist brush and paint in the cracks then wipe back. I haven’t used latex in foreve but I bet that would work great
@@JamiRayVintage Thank you!
That Shabby guy does a fantastic glaze video on UA-cam. Between JRV and him I got into flipping furniture.

Where did you get your IOD molds from?
We sell them in our shop jamirayvintage.com/collections/iod-moulds
So you keep saying only certain paints can be wet distressed, would I be able to do that with painted on, not spray painted, chalk paint?
I don’t know about spray paint chalk paint I haven’t used it.
Can you also paint vinyl?
@@mariebedonie8760 absolutely. When I need extra help with adhesion I use diy salvation solution
@JamiRayVintage okay thank you for responding.
👍😉
What's salt wash?
Might that be a butterfly house
