  • It's been a beautiful Weekend and perfect for a nice ride. We ended up doing a pretty gruelling 33 miles with almost 3000ft of climbing on pretty much all gravel and single track this wonderful Saturday Evening in the Forest of Dean.
The CGR AL-E made things a lot easier, but my legs were still burning on the rocky hill climbs!

You have to remind your other half that when you're not using the motor, you have additional weight to carry and that gives a good workout. I have the CGR too, great versatile bike, on my longest ride didnt switch the motor on until 86km (because I'm old and forgot).

Yeah, she knows really, just likes having a little dig at me 🤣 she's looking at getting one too, so then she hasn't a leg to stand on. On the flat I tend to turn it off, as im riding faster than the motor and give anyway, just the hills I need it sometimes. Or if I'm feeling particularly lazy!
