WA Amazing Gold Mine and Salt Pans of Norseman by Drone

Central Western Australia, as mentioned, has many salt pans. The Norseman Gold Project (mine) sits among these. The local lookout allowed us to see these but flying overhead gave the best view, as always.
Approaching the lookout we passed a strange looking cubic hill. Soon we realised that this was what was left as the open mine consumed the hill from all 4 sides. One wonders what will happen to the water tank on top when the hill is completely gone.
