I have been feeding a stray cat one pouch of tuna once a week for few months. Should I stop is that to much?

Can someone help me out -
A young stray cat that was very very skinny showed up on my porch one day, so I fed it, how could I not?! The poor thing was starving! Anyway, decided to keep it even though I’m not really a cat person but this was a super friendly cat. It had kittens, which it was so skinny I didn’t know it was even pregnant. The kittens were just starting to open their eyes but they weren’t walking or moving a lot yet. Came home the other day to find the 4 kittens missing & the cat laying outside in the sun when she normally didn’t leave the kittens alone at all. A friend of mine who has had cats said bc the cat was young and starving when I got her that she may have killed the kittens and hid their bodies bc something was developmentally wrong with them? Now I’m searching for dead kitten bodies? I really hope something else happened bc that just freaked me out. Any advice? Is this probably really what happened? Thanks! 🐈😿🐈‍⬛
