the verb " to play" in italian has more meanings, like "suonare" (play an instrument), "giocare" (ex. play basketball), "esibire" (play in a drama)
You are correct. I like to keep each lesson to a limited amount of information though. In addition esibire wouldn't fall into this lesson. ARE

i love this. thank you so much. one suggestion: you had "to play" as "suonare" but a more accurate thing to say would be "to play an instrument/or ring a bell." so beginners won't confuse it with "giocare" - to play (a game or sport)

It would be helpful to note that verbs like "ascoltare" could more accurately be translated as "to listen TO" or "aspettare" as "to wait FOR" to better reflect their usage; as it would dissuade beginners from incorrectly adding an article afterwards.
Ascolto la musica.
(Not: acolto alla musica)
Aspetto il treno.
(Not: aspetto per il treno)
Also worthy of note, the verbs "giocare" (to play a game) and "suonare" (to play a musical instrument) are not interchangable.

I listen to this while I’m working and at times I’m thinking that I can’t remember anything but then I subconsciously begin reciting the word in Italian before she can...this is like the Karate Kid and I’m being Mr. Miyagee’d 😉 I love it.

A great video lesson to study Italian verbs - that is exactly what I need. Thumbs up for you guys! What i like to suggest is to add followup lessons of quiz to test and further drill the lessons we just learned. I hope i can progress quickly by listening to these everyday👍

the corrected sentence is: mi piace molto ascoltare I VOSTRI (your) video! Grazie Mille!
***** Actually it would need to be either almost the way she said it initially "Mi piace molto ascoltare il vostro video! grazie miille!" or almost as you had it Paul "Mi piacciono molto ascoltare I VOSTRI (your) video! Grazie Mille!" if you are going to make the video plural then the verb has to agree.
+Il Tavolo Italiano - Free Italian and English lessons online! Except that the subject of Paul's sentence isn't "i vostri video." It's the infinitive phrase "ascoltare i vostri video." Since there's only one infinitive in the infinitive phrase, the verb is singular. Thus, Paul is right, and the correct sentence (assuming that Susana was talking about the entire video series and not just the current video) is "Mi piace ascoltare i vostri (or i Loro) video."
+Il Tavolo Italiano - Free Italian and English lessons online! To use the plural verb, she would simply need to say "Mi piacciono i vostri (or i Loro) video." That makes the verb agree with the actual subject, "i vostri (or i Loro) video."

Va bene, good point about the infinitive. The only other thing I would change is to use the singular "you" which would be "tuoi" or "suoi" if we were really going to dial it in.

This video is very useful in learning Italian verbs. Do you know of a site that teaches conjugation of every Italian verb? This is where I am getting caught up at the moment due to the way each verb changes. Many words seem to change drastically in spelling depending upon its conjugation. Any information would help. I can't say I know of a site that teaches every verb in specific but if you learn the conjugating patterns for regular verbs then you will be able to conjugate 100% of all the regular verbs. Have you checked out my website at;

Incidentally, Italians always capitalize the forms of "Lei" when it is used as the formal "you."
