Do you mind me asking--all in on just the gun and the suppressor but minus the optic, how much $ did this setup run you? It's very cool and I kinda wanna make one just like it.
I think it would make more sense to look at the retail pricing of the package…. I bought this mws in 2010 so pricing is very different there vs current and several of the companies mentioned in this video provided product free of charge or at a discounted rate. That said, below is a list of the components and rough pricing: Lmt rifle - $3500ish (I think) Rainier M110 barrel- $700 D wilson mes conversion $175 SR25 has block and install- $450 Griffin m110 flash hider- $150 Griffin MGL 110- $2000 Total in the $7000 ballpark
Oh man….. I’d go 6.5. I’m a huge 308 but 6.5 is just such a better performer. I’ll likely end up with a 6.5 “m110” barrel for this lmt down the road. I just went 308 on this one as d wilson had a used barrel handy that would let me quickly test the theory and get a rifle up and running
I walked into the biggest gun store in the state and asked for a LMT. They said, "The Unicorn?" I said, "The what?" They said, "Mythical creature. Everyone has heard of them but no one has ever seen one in the wild." That was about 10 years ago, I guess they are becoming more attainable.
I dont own a real M110. But...I did come across a "swap meet find" device that threads onto the end of the barrell. It was made by a company in Florida years ago.....
If I'm guessing right, I thought all of their 'devices' either attached at or near the gas blocks or onto the various specific flash hiders they make? Or was it one of the hiders? Those thread onto the end of the barrel.

More magnification and a newer reticle design might make it easier to shoot those 100 yd groups. One of these days I’m going to make a video around my thoughts on long range shooting and magnification
That said, below is a list of the components and rough pricing:
Lmt rifle - $3500ish (I think)
Rainier M110 barrel- $700
D wilson mes conversion $175
SR25 has block and install- $450
Griffin m110 flash hider- $150
Griffin MGL 110- $2000
Total in the $7000 ballpark
027 Howe Stravenue
Little disappointing paper accuracy. But that’s on par with the design spec
What are your thoughts on a 6.5CM barrel vs a .308 for the M110 platform?
Oh man….. I’d go 6.5. I’m a huge 308 but 6.5 is just such a better performer. I’ll likely end up with a 6.5 “m110” barrel for this lmt down the road. I just went 308 on this one as d wilson had a used barrel handy that would let me quickly test the theory and get a rifle up and running
What state is this?
I walked into the biggest gun store in the state and asked for a LMT. They said, "The Unicorn?" I said, "The what?" They said, "Mythical creature. Everyone has heard of them but no one has ever seen one in the wild." That was about 10 years ago, I guess they are becoming more attainable.
Yeah I feel like LMTs are everywhere. I’d say they are very well known as one of the higher end ARs
I had to mail-order mine to the FFL.
What ballistic calculator app do you use?
Ummmm, did I miss it, but what caliber cartridge is this rifle? 308 Win? 🤷🏻♂️
308 indeed…. Now that I think about it I’m not sure I actually said this in the video 🤦♂️
What’s your typical elevation where you shoot?
I’d say 1000-2000 feet is pretty normal for me
At 2:50 where can I get the wedge filling the gap between the grip and lower receiver?
Oh man that’s a great question….. I’ve had that for years. I feel like it’s something Magpul offers or offered at one time
I want to turn my LMT 6.5 20” into this setup 😮
Make sure you get an m110 profile barrel…. The lmt profile will not work
I dont own a real M110.

What shooting bag is that?
It’s the fulcrum quadrant…. Awesome bag from a newer company out of CA
Thank you! Quick response and bad ass videos
Mmmm “free state,” sounds like you drove over to Idaho
I more than drove over…. One could say all of my future content will be based here!
@@MountainsMulletsMerica congrats! don’t blame you, gotta be tough to create gun content in WA
PSA's clone comes awful close to this for half the price. KAC is the new H&K as far as hating civilian sales goes.
Where are you bro?
You’ll find me in Idaho nowadays!

All I know is, any niche that requires a rifle with a 40-50in. OAL is not a niche for me, nor likely any non …non-permissive-environment user.
too much money for joe average.😢
I wish this guy would take eating and lifting as serious as his 2A hobby. Hurts to see a victim weight individual in the wild.
Interesting…. I’d love to hear what taking eating and lifting more seriously would allow me to do that I can’t do now?
@@MountainsMulletsMerica You would look like the rest of the LARPing douches. :) with no actual experience. Don't listen to these douches.
@@MountainsMulletsMerica Maybe gamma radiation like Bruce Banner? Nice big muscles but you'd also have a green complexion. Or just steroids and bulk up quick like Mike (GarandThumb).
