I had a truck do that to me before where it boiled back to the over flow reservoir. I believe it was the head gasket that went out or the intake because my motor blew when it did that

Hey there! Mind if I PM you or something? I have a 1993 f-150 5.8, and I'm a little nervous about changing my water pump! I've wanted to flush the radiator for so long now, but I've just been too chickensh*t. I'd love to hear how things went for you.
Question I got this 95 Ford F-150 90 yeah it's a 95 model but it's got a 5.8 in but anyway every time it gets hot outside or cold outside when the truck gets hot it seems like it it don't want a Harley pull up a hill you know what I'm saying I'm just trying to figure out what it is
Hi Justin, I’m from France and my language in English is not perfect. I’ve an 1989 E250 with the 351 engine here. You use air compressor to push the liquid outside the engine block ? I ask that because my drain plugs are pretty rusty on my engine block and don’t want to try opening . Thanks. Fred.
Raheem GardnerJr add the majority of the Coolant to the radiator to make sure it’s FULL. Add a little to the reservoir. I think there is a min and max line on the reservoir.
I have the same issue with the rusty radiator. Also I feel the heater core may be in the same shape,I dont have heat either. My question,how to do the flush if the heat isnt working in the truck? Its a 91 F150 w/ 302 engine. Signed,OVER HEATING!
flush your heater core by its self. i hooked up a garden hose to it and a hose for it to drain. went back and forth switching side was still blocked. would open up but would still not work. try cleaning it first. or just get a new one 40$
I have the same truck. Except mine is manual. I've been driving without a thermostat cause it was overheating on my with a new one in there. I boiled water to and it opened. I'm gonna flush the ranch today and hopefully that works but it not what do you think it might be?

I have a 93 f150 exact same color scheme as yours except my interior is gray but the outside paint red and white
Another tip to force the fluid out is to slightly loosen the bottom hose and blow into the fill hole on the radiator
Why doesnt your truck have a tach or am i missing something
Some came without it. My ‘95 doesn’t have one either.
How much coolant does the radiator take? And also do you just top it off?

I couldnt. Some reason the air wouldnt go in and water wouldnt drain through. Did the guy in the video take out his thermostat?

I would not even think of water. I'm not hear to bust u up. Put I do come from - 40 or/68 with wind. Well water don't go to good with water

Just saying water freaks me out. U got air look. U will have water lock
