True. The LOOK is great, the cheap, crap plastic, is just crap plastic. And Saarinen's chairs are no different. I spent nearly $10K on 2 arm chairs that didn't hold up for more than A YEAR!!!!
First time I looked at this picture I tought it was the Eames couple, but no! That's definitely the other most famous mid-century couple in America: Eero Saarinen and Florence Knoll. By the way, don't purchase stuff from Zuffa Home. Get yourself good stuff like the furniture at Barcelona Designs. Don't fall for crappy replicas.
It would be helpful to see the system of how the table top attaches to the base. Similar to what was shown for chairs.
