Buba Galadima Claims Atiku Sent Former Heads of State to Beg Kwankwaso for Merger

- In a season of politics, nothing is impossible, regarding alignments and realignments by political parties. In this regard, there have been mounting speculations over possible merger between the Presidential Candidates of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar and the New Nigeria People's Party, NNPP, Rabiu Kwankwaso. A chieftain of NNPP, Buba Galadima has let it be known that Atiku keeps sending prominent people to Kwankwaso to quit the race and support him. Galadima also alleged that Atiku is using religious leaders, former Heads of State and traditional rulers to persuade them to talk to Kwankwaso to step down for him. The days ahead will be very interesting for this possibility.

Bola Otitoju is sleeping. It is either he's being mischievous and or he's just an Ignorant dude. Everyone knows the dynamics of this election have since changed completely. That guy is telling them the truth but they all think everything is about Tinubu. Being in TVC in an echo chamber that swims and sinks with Tinubu have made them dull and lazy. These journalist are not seeing the current trajectory of things. Most of the North have already gone Atiku way. Why? Bcos the North always want power. Although Kwankwaso will win Kano, and gather some votes in the NW that will be it. Tinubu have already lost most part of the North. These guys think the whole north will vote Tinubu, no they won't. Most are voting Atiku. Tinubu is not popular in the north currently. Right now he's running 3rd. Asiwaju made it easy for them too by his insults to Buhari, his health status which they cld see, his constant gaffes and all his drug and certificate issues. He doesn't look good presently outside SW. Even in the SW Tinubu is loosing the heavy Xtian population bcos of the Muslim Muslim ticket thing, and generally APC denigrating the Xtians. He's also losing lots of educated Yoruba youths whom most are tilting Peter Obi.
How can abt 10 election polls from both within and outside the country be predicting an Obi win and these politicians scoff at it. I say fear data. If you toy with raw data, you will regret it. Obi has a path bcos he's winning both his region SE and SS without challenge. He's equally winning 4 of the states in NC, and 2 of them Plateau/Benue happen to have the biggest. votes. He's coming second with at least 25% in others. Obi will share Lagos 50/50 (might even win it) and he's coming a healthy second to most other SW states. If Tinubu loses the south to Obi, lost NC to him too, and Atiku is winning most of the North how will he win? Think? Atiku might have a chance but it is greatly diluted bcos all those states he's winning has been diluted bcos of 3 strong candidates sharing all the core North votes with him. It might not be enough. Exactly why he's been begging Kwankwaso to withdraw for him. He's not doing well in any part of the south. Don't let anyone deceive you.
I see an Obi win. Although it is going to be a tight election, but feel Obi will edge it. Just my opinion tho.

Obviously, Tinubu does not understand politics in the North. He is counting on APC governors who mostly won cos of Buhari. This is the best analysis I have seen. Atiku has a better shot at the presidency than Tinubu. He will come a distant 3rd. The race is between obi and Tinubu

Its good that Kwankwaso is running. NW will be divided heavily between PDP, APC and NNPP. Same as NE even though Atiku has an edge. Tinubu will win his SW for sure. Obi has a better chance because block votes from SE and SS. He is also tipped to win NC. So the only candidate that can win more than two regions is Obi.

Kwankwaso is 66 years old. If he steps down for Atiku, his political future career is over because he has maybe only 1 more chance based on his age to run for presidential office and if he steps down now, he'll be know as the candidate that believed he can not win and stepped down for another candidate therefore no one will ever take him serious in the future that's why he can not take Atiku's money. I don't know why some media commentators do sit in their comfort zone and begin to make some analysises that are totally different with the reality on ground.Kwankwaso has never contested any election under a political party and structure created by him till this year.Remember,Atiku is not contesting as mea independent candidate but under a political party with existing structures over the years and those structures would speak volume.This elections would shock alot of people that don't believe that structure matter in every ramifications for winning an elections.Even in some developed countries structures matters.The 1 sit in this country can only be possible under an existing structure, believe. Nigeria is different with other countries around the world where people have common voice and ground.
Kwankwaso is the most underrated politician today but people will be surprised. All I can say is that to find out how the race will end is to look at the candidature of each party. The PDP and the APC are top 2, next is the NNPP. NNPP have the highest number of contestants across the country after the two major parties.
