I am not a part of the community at all, I am a biological woman but I respect everyone's right to be whomever they want to be. Me too! I don’t like when people apologize for what they meant. I find the LBGTQ community to be bullies by making people wrong for any opinion different from their own. Most people will never see trans women the same as biological women because they’re not. That is not hate, that is a fact. Everyone should be respected and I will call you what you want but it doesn’t change my view. I appreciate Flame for her open-mindedness and being fair and understanding.
Great interview and I'm a 59 yr old black Woman who has been around Trans and gay folk when I was young and throughout my life and Never saw or heard this much complaining and division we all got along!! It seems like some members of the trans community struggle to accept a biological reality, even consider it disrespectful to call ourselves natural cis women because that leaves them out. I am proud member of the “other than” community. I say “other than” because most heterosexual people I have in my life hate everyone that’s not heterosexual. I just feel women especially black born women are disrespected so much. Now the people in the community want to label heterosexual and biological woman a cis woman. I refuse to be called a cis woman. Respect the biological woman. Don't reduce our space. Because you want to be a woman. Be you. Remember a woman and only a woman brought you into this world. So, respect her position. I didn't find any offense in what Miss Macy Gray said, but I think it's important to acknowledge the opposition of her comment. Macy participated in her conversation with you in the same spirit as her conversation with Pierce Morgan. She was not a weapon formed against anyone. This conversation has to be a continued effort, because it deserves to had for education purposes. Jesus Christ didn't touch and reach everyone, but evoked change amongst those he was meant to!
