Thank you so much Nat, I was at work earlier when I realised I had reached 200 and I may have squealed just a little lol

These have come up really well. I particularly like the white wave cresting and sea foam effect achieved. There is also something strangely satisfying about watching the heat gun effect. Speaking as a non-crafter, it looks as though this technique might work for clouds and mountains, too.

❤ well done! These have turned out lovely. I can't seem to get the wave effect. I've tried loads. I've got the same mold as you used, so I might have another go. 😊

Please don’t give up Louise! It is definitely a big learning curve… it took me so long to get it right! But OMG… it is so rewarding once you get the hand of it!
I’m not sure what method you use but, what I found works best for me is making sure there is a line of clear resin on your sand line… then lay the white so it touches both the dry sand and the clear resin. Obviously it is so hard to explain in a comment… this is when I wish I was brave enough to start my own channel!! I would love to be able to share what I know… and give back to this UA-cam family that have taught me so much!
It also depends on the thickness of your resin, the use of a heat gun and gas flame torch, I know it sounds quite technical and involved, but once you get it, it’s really not!
But, if you want to see it done by an expert, and explained well, then go and watch some of Erika’s videos, from #artisttilldeath … she is brilliant!! One of her recent videos is called: Super easy resin ocean (6 ways!!) … if you search that, you should find it easy enough. And I really hope that Jules doesn’t mind me mentioning another artist in her comments?!?
Unfortunately, I didn’t know about Erika when I was learning… I just kept at it, and at it, until I got it!
I did learn some tips from watching the Procrastipainter and Michelle Tracey… so you might want to look them up too!
I hope this has helped you somewhat? Good luck. You got this!!
Much love from Nat. (Brisbane, Australia) ♥️♥️🇦🇺

@@mattersofthehartbynat8815 Hi Nat. Thank you for your reply. It is quite a difficult technique, but I will conquer it. I'm the same as you, where starting a channel is concerned. I really want to, but just keep putting it off. I talk to myself all the time while crafting, so I'm thinking I might as well start a channel, so then at least it seems like I'm talking to someone, and not just chuntering away to myself 😂. I will definitely check out those other videos you have recommended. Thank you
💕 From Louise ( South Yorkshire, England)

Nat is so right...Resin is hard to perfect and I have learned to love my imperfections. Don't give up.

@@TheResinatorByJules well, I've sorted my craft room out. It's nice and tidy. But...... After coming home from a stressful food shop, I think I may have to go and spend some time in there to de-stress, by making some beach scene coasters 😂. I will let you know how I get on. 💕 🤞
