    Game voice okay but guns voice not good right? I'm think about buy, should I buy this center speaker? because I'm think gun voice will come left right and surround channels

      @ElitistReviews  5 місяців тому +1

      Yes gun sound comes from left and right speaker, where I've lowered the volume. Only centre speaker volume is at reference level.

      yap, try without the front grill, s35 sounds more crip that way.

    I went to best buy today and they had the S35 on an interactive display with the S20s, which are the front speakers that I currently use. I compared it to a Klipsh array of similar specs. The clarity of the Polk system was astonishing. Crisp and clear with really well defined bass. I immediately ordered the S35 from Amazon as I had a $200 giftcard. It'll be delivered on Sunday August 8th. I'm super stoked.

    What do you think about these over the s30?

    • @ElitistReviews
      @ElitistReviews  3 роки тому +4

      I did share my thoughts on S30 vs S35 at 01:37 but again to reiterate S35 has a wider sound, it's good for a large area. S30 has a deeper vocal and bass but at 80Hz Crossover they sound almost equal. I have spent several hours trying out different movies on both but S35 sounds really crisp and a bit clear for me, so I bought the S35.

    Need an advice bro . Planning to add second subwoofer. I already have HTS 12. Am eyeing on SVS sub. Is it safe to use hts 12 and Svs PB 2000 pro subwoofers on denon 3700h. Is it possible to use or will it damages the AVR for using two different brand of subs

    • @ElitistReviews
      @ElitistReviews  2 роки тому +2

      Those subwoofers are not passive unit like speakers. Subwoofer has their own built in amplifier, that's why they have separate power cable. Your AVR will only send audio signal and not power. So you can relax...

    Pretty good setup. how is polk OWM3 performing on dolby atmos.planning to buy the same

    • @ElitistReviews
      @ElitistReviews  3 роки тому +1

      OWM3 has no bass, so I set the crossover at 120Hz apart from that the sound spreads a lot, to be honest, I find it average. Maybe in the future, I will replace them with Polk S10

    Need advice on buying a Center channel in my system which consists of mission qx2 fronts and mission lx2 surrounds I am leaning towards Polk because of the vocal clarity the Center speakers provide. I am considering Polk csi a6 coz my fronts speakers have 6.5 inch woofers and this is the same size with the Polk csi a6. Can I go ahead or should I consider the signature Center?

    • @ElitistReviews
      @ElitistReviews  3 роки тому

      I've tried csi a6 not that impressive if you can try to go for new Polk reserve r400 or KEF Q650

    Are you playing videos from Pc to Get Dolby Atmos ? Can i pass through Dobly Atmos from Normal laptop with basic Soundcard ?

    • @ElitistReviews
      @ElitistReviews  3 роки тому

      yes I am using PC through HDMI passthrough (Nvidia GPU gives me sound and not my Realtek onboard soundcard) and a laptop with Intel 7'th gen or AMD Ryzen 2 Laptops can support Dolby Atmos but you won't get HDR coz that will require HDMI 2.0. Just download the Dolby Atmos app from the Microsoft store and try it out. I have tried with my Ryzen 3000 series HP laptop and I am able to get Atmos.

      S35 is only good for clear dialog so why are you forcing a center channel speaker for music.

      @@ElitistReviews Just a review for other people, I most use it for Movie.
      But Sometime I use All Channel Stereo, Dolby Surround or Neo:6 Music
      for multi speaker output listen music,
      Sound come from S35e just not good enough.

    • @ElitistReviews
      @ElitistReviews  3 роки тому +2

      @@KenKenho100 you must have a powerful dedicated amp coz running all channel stereo on a AVR is an horrible idea. You can ask others if you want. But I would highly suggest you don't do it, unless you got a power amp.

      AVR can power up 7.2.2, but why suddenly not enough power on music?

    • @fedur82able
      @fedur82able 4 місяці тому

      @@KenKenho100you shoud try bi-amp mode if have avr. More power, better separation, more detail on music. Music shoud be listen in stereo. Concert can beastered in 5.1 or something maybe. Central is for dialog for bass is subwoofer.

    How is the imaging? Do you feel like the voices come from the tv or the speaker?

    • @ElitistReviews
      @ElitistReviews  3 роки тому +1

      since this is a single unit center channel speaker so I can't describe stereo imaging, I making a review of S55 and then an overall Polk Signature review, where I will try to describe everything, be sure to check them later. Also yea I never use TV speaker much but if I compare with Logitech Z906 then yea I feel that voices are coming from the center but I had to tilt the speaker up at an angle (like you see in the video) it sounds way better that way.

    • @hansiangng2808
      @hansiangng2808 3 роки тому +1

      Thanks. I find it is important to angle the center speaker so that when sound pans from left to right, it does not "collapse" in the center. But sometimes it does not quite blend in.

    • @ElitistReviews
      @ElitistReviews  3 роки тому

      @@hansiangng2808 also timbre matching is very important as well, along with Crossover, if I keep the cross over at 60 then it won't blend in with certain movie scenes running without a subwoofer.

      @@ElitistReviews Bro I am currently using z906 speakers .. I am happy with the sound quality until I play movies .. the mid speaker is not doing much .. i feel I need bigger speakers or better speakers for z906 .. do you think this speakers change can do any improvement ?

    • @ElitistReviews
      @ElitistReviews  3 роки тому

      @@TearfulNight so you mean you want to replace Z906 and get some better speakers with AVR setup? or you just want to replace Z906 center speaker, the later is not possible coz Z906 power handing is configured with the z906 sub amplifier replacing any of the speaker will mess up your system.
