Sometimes an exuberant personality can make me shrink away being too much to bear.

Interesting. I sometimes become an exuberant personality when I'm around other people! Lots of people don't appreciate it. I was always like that, it's something I'm working on when I remember to.

How many people actually feel the shakti that he is always talking about?

When I meditate I can consistently feel it but I cannot hold onto it yet. It's elusive but there's definitely something very powerful there.

Yesterday, my nervous system was at complete ease after having had just 1 beer. As my family and I were preparing for a small get together we planned for the day, I began feeling this energy flow within my heart just expanding and expanding. I literally started to feel it overflow out of me and I had to share it w my wife, asking her not to think I was nuts but it was definitely happening and that I felt as though I couldn't even control it. It was just perculating out of me. Lol. Sounds a little weird but I felt like a kid again inside. No worries, just love blooming within. However, I have been doing daily meditation and a lot of inner work for a long while now. This has allowed me to feel my own shakti to a much higher degree than usual which was very sporadic at first. There's definitely something to it... IF you're willing to do the work and be patient. It's only a matter of effort and time, imo.

Once you stop closing your heart, the energy will flow naturally.

I have started having more experience with Shakti flowing more.
Mornings are hell, my mind is fighting, thoughts that are not healthy populate like roaches.
I listen to Michael every morning and every night, some days 3 hours a day.
I am very fortunate, I am 77, I recently, in April, got a job in a very small town where I can use my skill and knowledge to make more money than I get from Social Insecurity…after 10 years of losing my business and being unemployed and suffering several very traumatic events
I repair and make jewelry as I have for 45 years.
In my 60’s I started having severe depression and anxiety.
I have meditated since my 20’s, I had anxiety and panic attacks when I meditated.
5-6 years ago I started doing Dr. Joe Dispensa’s meditations, again depression, anxiety and panic attacks.
Then I found Michael’s teachings and I have applied the techniques very seriously, especially, learning to relax, really deeply focusing my awareness on relaxing the body.
Michael sometimes, says wishes we could hear him.
      Michael speaks in analogies.
He is talking about energy and using will power.
I had a very serious struggle with pulling the focus of my attention away from the dark place in my psyche.
      Took months.
Now I am cruising, there are ups and downs, I can move more quickly to get back into rhythm with Shakti.
Now, there is no plan B, I refuse to let morbid habitual thinking or emotions pull me enough to even consider taking a break.
Do you understand the analogy about eating a horrible meal, taking some home and eating some occasionally to remind yourself how bad it was.
Bring that suffering from the past into the present?
I had a great amount of resistance to going to work today, I went to work and applied myself to focus on making beautiful jewelry for people who respect my skill and knowledge to meet or exceed their expectation.
It is not about ego, it is serving others.
Jewelry is unnecessary, a luxury item.
      It still counts.
A lot of what I do is revive jewelry that has great sentimental value to the owner.
      Is that my world, no.
      Not the point.
My heart is happy seeing the joy and receiving gratitude from the customers.
I move forward inch by inch and refuse to backslide into any more suffering that I need to experience, as I have experienced in the past.
Rather have a root canal without anesthesia, that is physical, the emotional I have had to release has been more traumatic that what ever I am suffering from the losses of aging.
      Just where I am now…
That will be over and forgotten…
I have had hours of pleasurable sensations flowing though my body today.
      I will lean into that!
