Father, can you clarify: What if you know a sin is wrong, but didn't know it was *gravely* wrong? Does that qualify for the "full knowledge" condition? Like if I knowingly sin, but didn't realize it was particularly serious.
Yes, thank you for your incredible insight. Question for your next video: Is it a mortal sin to take the Eucharist with sin in your heart, venial or not?
Thank you for the video Fr David. One thing I have discovered recently is that we should not take the eucharist if we have mortally sinned. Is confession to a priest the only thing we can do before we can take the eucharist again or is it enough to confess in private? Greetings from Australia and God bless!
Great video! I have a question though regarding confession. What’s the difference between asking God, during a prayer, for forgiveness and actually going to church and confess? Can they both be the same if, let’s say.. you put more effort into praying, being sincere & asking God to help you turn away from those sins?
There is grace in this sacrament and Jesus desires us to be humble, it is hard to be humble, St Faustina diary speaks of Christ meeting us in the confessional, the priest represents Him ..I am not a theologian or priest but Confession is Powerful , blessing
We Need more teaching always in this, LORD HAVE MERCY
Thank you I understand more clearer.
Everytime we commit a mortal sin, we put Jesus back on the cross!
