Over the Moon - John Williams (E.T. The Extra Terrestrial) [Midi-Mockup]

John Williams music for the movie E.T. touched a lot of lives, and many still to this day. I will likely do a few more from E.T. so I look forward to recreating those, along with a lot more of John William's work.

Thanks for this! The high strings are always that tough part, and could use legato. Strings are always the toughest.

Of course. I did use legato for the strings, but its still quite challenging, especially with the piano being always on the beat and no pre delay.

Haha, yes Ive been in a continuous state of learning with how to make piano sound more natural and not robotic. But also, I was just following the score, so I put all the notes in through logic score notator.

@@stefandidoszakmusicWith piano usually your DAW will have a means of quantizing, but then randomizing the hits, you could try by like 10-20% and see how it sounds, maybe even a little less than that.
