In this Video I'll tell you about an offbeat destination, Mim Tea Estate. Mim is a small Tea Estate nestled in between Ghoom and Sukhiapokhri in Darjeeling District. Far from madding crowd, here you can enjoy the majestic view of Kanchenjunga and mystic Pine woods all together.
We stayed at a homestay named LITTLE FOREST HOMESTAY.

Tariff- 1500-2000 per head per day including room rent and 3 times meal.
The Homestay owner also provide conveyance from NJP if informed early.
From Mim you can make day trip to Dhotre, Tonglu, Simana and Jorpokhri.
HOW TO GET THERE:
Route 1: Via Ghoom (From Ghoom railway station take left turn towards Sukhiapokhri. Right before Sukhiapokhri BPCL Petrol pump there is a signboard of Mim Tea Estate. From there take the right turn.)
Route 2: Via Mirik ( From Sukhiapokhri Market go towards Sukhiapokhri Petrol pump.Right after crossing petrol pump take left turn following Mim Tea estate signboard)
Distance of Mim Tea Garden from NJP: 80km
*You can hire a cab direct to Mim Tea Garden. Tariff-2500-3000
*Shared Car Option: From Siliguri Bus stand shared car upto Sukhiapokhri. From Sukhiapokhri market another shared car to Mim Tea Estate.

How did you book the homestay?
