I get there's some cheesy lines here and there, but I don't know what all the hate for this song is. It's hard to describe, but as someone who's stuck in low ranks clawing for every victory I can get, this song resonates with me. It makes me feel like I can get better and break through. It encourages me to keep pressing on even if no one believes in me.

The thing that actually grew on me about this theme is that, the more I thought about it, the more I realized that it's actually not just a "general motivational" song, but also about the Street Fighter series, its ups and downs and Capcom's intention of getting back in form with 6.

Because for some people certain activities such as basketball football and sometimes even street fighter will get you out of a place that you don’t want to be in. Capcom didn't need to go this hard on a character select theme.....yet they DID and I love them so much for that, easily the entire character select from choosing the stage to the vs screen is the best in ANY FIGHTING GAME period.

DOA5's "Its A Showdown", Soul Caliber II...no way SF6 character select theme holds up with any of those. I understand the motivational words in the song, but the song sound like a suburban kid who wanna be a rapper. To me it doesn't have that high replay value, definitely won't last as long as 3rd Strike character select.

Sometimes you achieve it all, and sometimes sadly you can very well lose it all. I’m moved by how strong the message is. Eventually, you’ll be on your own. After the disasters that were Street Fighter V and MVC I they probably felt like they had a lot to prove that and Street Fighter being under new stewards with Ono gone they had to come out swinging and DAMN did they knock it out the park
MvC2, Street Fighter II, Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike, DOA3, Marvel Super Heroes Vs Street Fighter, Tekken 2, Neo Geo Battle Coliseum (Xbox 360 ver.) DOA5's "Its A Showdown", Soul Caliber II...no way SF6 character select theme holds up with any of those. I understand the motivational words in the song, but the song sound like a suburban kid who wanna be a rapper. To me it doesn't have that high replay value, definitely won't last as long as 3rd Strike character select.

I❤this music so much. I see what capcom did with this. It’s a motivational song at the character selection menu to help you understand how life is. Always changing and never ending. Sometimes you achieve it all, and sometimes sadly you can very well lose it all. I’m moved by how strong the message is. Eventually, you’ll be on your own. You NEVER Give up at what you’re wanting to achieve. The Pain hurts I know. But it only makes you stronger ❤❤❤❤ Truthfully, this has been absent in fighting games for a while. Some of those tracks about "guns sex and drugs" make me feel ultra powerful and like im THAT NIGGA but a healthy balance of "im not afraid to fail i tried my hardest" is good too especially for our youth.
