@@damien1351 shut up man, he just got stuck in, “bully” he just played physical, had nothing to do with any fear element. Vinnie never thought he was tough, just played the way he did.
I’m glad I’ve got all those memories hard wired, I’m part of the Vinnie generation. In football, work and play we actually knew the meaning of banter and deployed it liberally. I literally went to work for a laugh and I was the guvnor! Great days, epitomised by that mad Wimbledon team. 😆❤️😘
For a player who’s play style is completely dead in today’s game he actually speaks a lot more sense than half the pundits from more recent time *cough Rio Ferdinand cough*
Crazy gang they were a breathe of fresh air when they came up into the big league, they stood tall and backed each other up all over the park, think mcmahon still walks dodgey after that final
Great to listen to. A lot of people slag off Vinnie but he got himself an FA cup winners medal and its players like him that we still remember. Love em or hate em the game did have a lot more characters back before money ruined the game.

They just don’t make players like that anymore, Vinnie Jones,Roy Keane,Patrick viera,Martin Keown them dudes were hard as nails never shied away from a tackle, they loved a good battle
I love seeing the fans having a great time supporting their team and bring their family along. A sense of belonging to the club and the team. They're not like the other supporters who only want to support top clubs. The fans are there no matter where they are. Up or down. I would say, they're the real fans. I used to watch the Wombles at Selhurst Park. I remember going there and they were giving out 'back to Merton' signs before the game. The other thing I remember is the pitch at Selhurst Park being really small and Hans Segars letting an easy shot go in. He was later found to have been match fixing along with Bruce Grobalaar. A shame to turf off the greyhounds and banger racers but I guess it's a good base to try and get back in the Premier.
Though Vinnie is the more famous-Wally led that dressing room for years before Vinnie arrived. He was a quality player too-he crocked his knees though the season we went up to Div1
Would love to see Jones do punditry, he can connect with fans more because he tells it how it is, they'd only have to tell him to tone down the talk of cutting things up or throwing elbows lol
Vinny Jones has a huge opinion of himself. Poor footballer at best with a huge mouth. It's a shame he wasn't playing a few years earlier in the years of Souness or Billy Whitehurst or Ron Harris. They'd have broken him in two. The ones that usually make the most noise are like he does are just full of hot air.
"Get the ball in the box with a few elbows flying about", Vinny is a legend lol
Loves Vinny init
Vinnie Jones was the definition of old school hard hitting football.
He was useless good for nothing thug.

Vinnie auditioning for next seasons Peaky Blinders.

Mr Black I came because of the flat cap 😁

He’s too basic and uncouth to be on TV.

I wish Phil Neville was here and would say how he thought diving is acceptable...he'd end up getting a spear from Vinnie. No nonsense player.
Diving was the only way to avoid a leg break when going up against Vinnie, though.
