  • We created this poo-tastic sand sculpture at the Glastonbury Festival for the charity WaterAid. The 12 tonne sculpture was made from a mix of sand, mud (it is Glastonbury, after all!) and composted poo from last year's festival! The rather surprised man reading the Glastonbury Free Press newspaper on the toilet is modelled on WaterAid volunteer, Tim Lloyd. The sculpture is by the actual composting toilets and overlooks the Pyramid Stage, with a great view of all the fantastic acts that are due to perform. It was built to raise awareness of the way climate events such as flooding and drought are affecting access to clean toilets and sanitation and their campaign Climate Fight climatefight.wateraid.org.
