The v12 vantage is a t5 car and the 250 gto is a t2 car. And the only races you can do to get a super start is the online races using the launch button
I have the same colour as you everything is the same and mine also beat the sheet out of those stock tier 5 only on 1/4 mile though for the 1/2 mile I use my rocket huracan or my sonic boom supra Alr I gave them those names but they really correspond well
Only stage 6 I have is nitrous but I have loads of fusion parts and all the upgrades. On 1/2 mile races I hit 201 at the rev limiter 60% of the way through, 250 gto is by far my favorite t2 car

For 250GTO, if the gear ratio was tall, the car have faster top speed, also better on 1/2 mile while on shorter gear ratio, the car have better 1/4 mile but lacks top speed. my 250GTO (maxed out all Stage 6, Fusions, and Elite Levels) have 2 settings, 1/2 mile & 1/4 mile. I use 1/2 mile settings for race on T5 RR races.

My Supra GR is almost full upgrades, just 2 more upgrades and all upgrades are at stage 5
With the proper gear change pattern it would be even faster
